May 2002 was a busy month - May Day, NYC, Indiana.
My stepfather, Charles L. Belcher died on January 28, 2002. We were all saddened by his death, but he would have been happy to see all of us together in Alabama, sharing love, sadness, good stories. Photos from this family gathering can be found here.

Ernest Ehler was the son of Frieda Lowell's uncle. He was a singer on the stage in New York and Juneau. We can glimpse a bit of his interesting life through these letters from and to Jean Calhoun.
Augusta Ehler Rasch was the mother of Frieda Lowell. She was born in Germany, but moved here before Frieda was born. Here are some letters that she wrote in 1926.
