| Entry #5: There are so many memories of Imajin, however I will tell you my one of my
favorites. They had a show at Richmond Hill High school in 1998. I remember
they sang "Babygirl" there for the first time and thinking, I wonder if they
are going to release that song. Well anyway, They had this New Edition
segment in their show and they sang "Can You stand that rain." So it gets to
the second verse and Talib started to sing. Well at that time, it was a big
thing, because no one heard him sing by himself before. Well the crowd went
CRAZY!!! I was standing on the chair with my friends so we could see, and
someone was tapping me on my back feverishly. So I turned around and it was
Talib's brother Muhammad. So before I could ask what's up, he exclaimed, " I
never heard my brother sing before!" His enthusiasm cracked me up. I thought
it was cute. - Lisa |
| Entry #4: My favorite Imajin moment would have to be this past summer (2002) at the Black Expo. Imajin did their thang and it was nice to see that they still had fans out there... But we all went back to the studio afterwards and were just acting a fool for no reason lol that was a funny night. Also I remember back at the Addlib Show 2 years ago once again me, Lisa, Tia and some more friends rode a limo out to new jersey to go to the show and we had too much fun... We made a couple signs to show our love for the performers.. We were screamin our a$$es off we had a lot of fun tho.... -Tonya |

Alright, this is the story on
when I remember Imajin, the first time I saw them on paper, and on film. - Arriane |
| Entry #2: I have to say what made me like Imajin was the fact that they were so talented, I mean from 3rd or 4th grade up until 7th grade I was a die hard Immature fan, but then at the end of 7th grade, I started seeing posters, and reading articles on Imajin, and I decided to checc them out at the black expo (1998). From then on it was a wrap, cuz not only were they truly talented, they were sexy az only God could make them, and to top it off, they sang my song (all my life-Kci& Jojo)and murdered it, so yeah that helped too when they brought a tear to my eye, and what else can I say...I've been hooked ever since. - Tia Stith |
| Entry #1: First time I heard about Imajin was in eighth grade (back in early '98). Someone had a hi-c juice box and it just happened to have a picture and small bio about these four talented guys in a group called Imajin. Of course I could not pronounce Olamidé's name for nothing (we were saying allahmahday for a minute) but me and my friends were in luhv with the boys even taking it so far as to argue over which one was ours (lol). Anyway that was the beginning of a beautiful fan journey...or something like that. Another memory is of this concert in Newark that my dad took me and two of my friends to. The concert was outdoors and had this sort of town festival thing going on before Imajin came out. This one girl came over and was all excited over Talib, she told us he was her favorite member and was talking for a while about how much she loved the kid. Anyhow she was messin up his name as much as we were Lamz, she was saying "Tah-leeb" so much that she had us pronouncing it that way. "Tah-leeb" so cute this, and "Tah-leeb" so fine that. =) They came out and performed and I was reppin addlib (I even tattooed it on my arm in a body marker) so it was cool. Everyone was all hyped and Imajin stayed and gave autographs at the end. I can't forget to mention the addlib messageboard and ImajiNation's messagebord! We had a family that even the tightest internet communities would envy. Much love to all the girls wherever you are! - Gemya |
