Imajin’s last lane starring Talib

You’re in a field trip with your class to go to Philly and you are driving by a highly wooded area of penn by now. It is winter and the sky is getting darker. Then all you heard was a screeching sound. Eeeeeeeerrrrrkkkk Kaboom! The tires went flat.

Everybody went outside the bus so that the driver could fix the flat tire. You really had to pee now, so you decided to go off to the woods to pee somewhere and you found the right spot. (Dummy a spooky tree) You said to yourself “this tree will cover me while I pee.”  It was getting dark, and this was around 7pm now. Not knowing what’s going on, your bus left you, and u forgot your way back to the road. You are out in the middle of nowhere and it is really starting to creep you.

You heard someone walking around the tree that u was just at. You cried out “helllooo?’ “Is anyone there?” Nobody answers. There was silence for like ten seconds, and then you heard the footsteps again. You get so frightened you run off screaming, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!  The footsteps keep on following u. You stopped for a second, terribly out of breath, and u look back to see if the thing that was following u is gone.  U turn to look ahead of u and BOOM! It was a good looking guy and he asks you,” Are you lost?”  You just scream in his face,  “can u please stop following me like that??”  “You almost gave me a heart attack!!” You exclaimed.  “I’m lost and my bus left me, and I don’t know how to get back to NY!”  He talked to you in a clam and gentle voice, which made u feel comfortable and said “I will help you, calm down girl.”  He says patiently.  “What is your name?” He asked and you say Liz (or your name). He said my name is Talib.

You shook hands with him and you realized that they were so cold. This is now about Ten O’ clock. You asked him why are his hands so cold, and he said, “oh it is nothing, I’m always cold.” In saying this, he suddenly looks sad. You decided not to ask him what was wrong, because you hardly knew the fellow.

You called up the police to come pick u up from the town, which was called “Ghost Town” from the nearest pay phone. While u guys waited you decided to eat at a diner. It has gotten really late and you were getting worried, because the person that was supposed to pick u up didn’t come yet.  This girl that looked a little psycho came in the diner, and went straight to the kitchen. She happened to be following all night. She came back out with a knife and tried to stab you without cause.  So Talib and you dash out of the diner and run away from her. He said that it would be safer in the woods, so you too decided to go back for the time being.

He takes you to a cozy place and there was a circle in front of the big tree that u were peeing on earlier.  It had candles, flowers, ribbons and a dinner table set up for two.  He told you it was for his girlfriend who was supposed to come at 12am to have dinner with him for their anniversary.  U suggested that you guys dance together since the mood was set.  He then told u that he could not dance so u proceeded to show him.  All of a sudden, you two were floating and smoke was coming out of the air, but u didn’t realize this. Then suddenly the girl who followed you two showed up again with the knife in her hand and tried to stab u again. She was screaming, “You can’t have him! He’s MINE!!”  Then she almost got you but Talib went dashing in front and took the stab. The girl kept stabbing but he did not get hurt or anything. The knife just went through him and he was not bleeding. The girl finally gave up and cried out, “You’re Mine, she cannot have you!” Then she proceeded to go to the side and dig.  As she kept digging, Talib’s face became pale, as if he was dead.  Talib’s girlfriend showed up and saw that the crazy girl had dug up Talib’s dead body and cried out.  The cops then showed up and took the psycho broad away to an asylum.  Meanwhile, you and Talib’s girl talked to each other in front of the big tree.

Suddenly, the wind grew cold, and the candlelights blew off and on again and it started to get foggy.  You look around and there appeared floating on air Talib.  Talib took his girl’s hands and they started dancing on air now the same as it was. It was 12:30 already and you screamed out “Talib, please do not scare me like that again.”  Then he replied, “I won’t, thank you.”  Talib’s girl was still dancing in the air, but you still couldn’t see anyone dancing with her.  Terrified, you just run off in the darkness.
