Rocketshipper's Page

To protect our ideas from being hurled
To unite all Rocketshippers in this world
To announce the truth: the two are in love
Rocktshippyness will rise high and above
Jessie
James
They may not act like a couple or pair
But deep down inside, they really do care

Like my motto? It's so corny.. It belongs to me though so if you want to use it, just tell me.

First of all, what is a rocketshipper? A rocketshipper is a person who thinks Jessie and James make a great couple. It's played off the word(s) 'Team Rocket' and 'Relationship'. Rocketshipper, get it? I wonder who thought this up...

Now I am a diehard rocketshipper. Jessie and James look soooo cute together, don't you think? Want proof? Well, here it is:

First, we'll start with Jessie. She's vain and beats down on James. She usually hides her feelings but I know she's really nice inside. Well, maybe not that nice cause you know, she's a bad guy. You can't expect bad guys to be goody-goodies. So she has a good reason for how she acts. Also she grew up poor and that may have a big impact on her. I mean, wouldn't you be tough if you grew up poor. You would have to take care of yourself to survive.

Now, for the hitting James part. Jessie just gets really pissed sometimes and needs to blow off some steam, so she hits James. Also, have you ever heard that if you like someone you make fun of them or something like that. Well, maybe that's why Jessie hits James. When I'm really mad I go around cursing people off. Since Pokémon is a kid's show, I guess they can't curse. Also when I'm mad, I hit something like a pillow or something. Team Rocket's always out in the woods. What do you expect Jessie to hit when she gets mad. The trees? Of course not, so she hits James.

Now for the conclusion. Jessie probably really likes James. Even though she acts really mean sometimes, she can act soft. Like in the St. Anne. She promised James that she would never leave him. And in Holy Matrimony, she looked really sad when she thought James had left for good. But, when James comes back she looks really happy. So to end this, she likes him.

James is next. James can be a big whiner sometimes but he's really sweet. He's not as mean as Jessie but that's just the way he is. He grew up rich for goodness sake. James was spoiled so he's not as tough as Jessie, who grew up poor. James can be a scaredy cat sometimes but he's strong sometimes. Like when they saw Mewtwo blast off and Giovanni in the middle of the blasted building, Jessie hides behind James. It's like she's seeking protection from him.

One little problem with James. He crossdresses. But that don't really matter to me. Why? Because everyone else also crossdresses. Like in Pokémon Scent-sation Ash dresses up as 'Ashley' to get into Erika's gym. And Brock's always wearing an apron. Now I know that guys can wear aprons, but not frilly pink ones!! I'm not so sure about Misty though. In "The Breeding Center Secret" she looks like a guy but sounds like a girl. So, I'm not so sure what she was, a guy or a girl. And Jessie also crossdresses. So as you can see, James isn't the only one.

Conclusion for James now. James probably likes Jessie. He's always trying to find ways to please her. Like in The Ultimate Test you see him the corner and says, "Jessie's been expelled. Now I have to do my best for her." And when he's fighting the exam man, he says, "This one's for you Jessie." And he comes back to her in "Holy Matrimony". Leaves all the money behind.

More proof!! Here's another thing I've realized. In almost all of the little kid movies, someone falls in love. Examples:

The Lion King: Simba and Nala

Beauty and the Beast: Belle and the Prince

Cinderella: Cinderella and Prince Charming

Snow White: Snow White and the Prince

Scooby Doo: Fred and Daphne

Doug: Doug and Patti

Tiny Toons: Buster and Babs

Robin Hood: Robin and Maid Marien

Little Mermaid: Arial and Eric

Anyways, I know Pokemon isn't made by the same people who make those movies/cartoons but it's just something I've noticed. And these are little kid movies as in little kids watch it. Love is sweet.

Like the Mickey cartoon(I have no idea what it's called): Mickey and Minnie; Donald and Daisy.

What I'm trying to say is that someone has to fall in love in Pokemon cause all these other cartoons have people(or characters) falling in love. Besides, I think little kids think it's cute.

I know that it would probably be Ash and Misty cause...well, you know, "Misty's song". But that's too bad, because Misty leaves. There's some sadness but no real confession of feelings. Jessie and James are it! Not Ash and Misty.

Some more reasons!!! We all know the WB shows Pokemon, right? Well, in most of their cartoons, they got couples too. Yes, there's nothing wrong with a little lovin'.

And besides, some of the Pokemon are in love ('Wherefore Art Thou, Pokemon") so what's wrong with Pokemon?

I actually have my very best reason why Jessie and James are not together right now. And I think it's very original. Haven't seen it on any other sites. Okay, as you may know (or may not) I am an obsessive person. And one of my other obsessions is Jane Eyre. It has got to be one of the best love stories around. Anyway, in the story, Jane and Rochester are about to get married when she finds out that he already has another wife. Except this wife is a crazy and Rochester has slowly grown to hate her. So he thinks it would be okay for him to marry Jane because he was tricked into marrying his first wife. But Jane knows that it's not right. That's bigamy. And as much as she loves Rochester, she cannot let herself marry him when he already has a wife living.

Now to relate this to Team Rocket. In 'Holy Matrimony' Jessie finds out that James has a fiancée, the infamous Jezebel. Now, even though Jessie may be in the evil Team Rocket and all, each person has to have certain morals. Even though James may hate Jezebel, they are still engaged. Jessie sees this all. And though she loves James dearly, it would be totally wrong to break them up because apparently, they're together whether they want to or not. You see how this is kinda the same thing as in Jane Eyre? In Jessie's eyes, James is taken. Maybe not by his own will, but he's taken. Heh...I feel smart.
