Word to the World - radio program

Word to the World is a five minute missions oriented radio program on the Calvary Satellite Network. Hosted by Danny Lehmann, the purpose is to encourage, edify and equip listeners of the CSN to get involved in both prayer and action with regards to world missions.

The program has six different areas that are covered:

1. Bible teaching on missions
2. Unreached people group profiles
3. Reports on missionaries who are now working on the field (for the purpose of prayer)
4. Missionary interviews
5. Profiles on missionary heroes (i.e. Hudson Taylor, William Carey, Amy Carmichael, etc.)
6. "Hot Spots" which are just praise reports on the areas of the world where the Holy Spirit is moving in great power for the sake of edifying the body. ("As cold waters to a thirsty soul so is good news from a far country." Prov. 25:23)

The program airs on weekdays at 3:30 Eastern Standard Time, 2:30 Central, 1:30 Mountain, 12:30 Pacific, 11:30 Alaska, and 10:30 Hawaiian, on radio stations that are part of the Calvary Satellite Network. You can also hear the Word for the World radio program live through the internet via the Calvary Satellite Network Website.

Many of the programs have been archived and can be listened to via the internet through the Calvary Chapel Honolulu Online Library. These programs inlude topics such as Indigenous People, making disciples of all nations, the church at Antioch, Vision for World Missions, the Physical side of Spiritual Missions. Also available are interiews with missionaries from organizations such as YWAM and Calvary Chapel who have ministereed in nations such as Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tibet and India.
