Hotel street is an area around downtown Honolulu which has drug dealing, porn shops, bars and prostitution. Once can encounter a lot of "down and out" people here. Since many of the these people have hit rock bottom some can be quite open to hearing the gospel. Calvary Chapel Honolulu was formerly located on Beretania & Nuuanu so was able to follow up on some of these people. Another church is there now which continues the work. River of Life Mission is also nearby feeding and helping the people here in many ways.
Danny's evangelistic conversation is disrupted by a drugged out man dressed in only a loin cloth loudly walking down the street. These sort of bizarre events are not too uncommon in the Hotel street area!
