Lucky Four Ridin Rainbows
is our very consistent showring winning Senior Gelding. He is a light palomino and measures 33 ½”. SPF Steel My Heart, aka Velvet, is a beautiful 2 year old mare and is the perfect example of years of selective breeding at Shady Pine Farm. Velvet is a striking BLACK ROAN with a wide blaze and 2 CRYSTAL BLUE EYES! Her sire Ft. Phantom Farms Steely Dan is a MULTI-AMHA NATIONAL TOP TEN SENIOR STALLION, who is also a sire of MULTI-AMHA NATIONAL TOP TEN HALTER WINNERS AND FUTURITY WINNERS. Her dam, Ocalas Miss Ester, is the foundation of our breeding program; she is a gorgeous granddaughter of Dell Teras Moonman. Velvet was named GRAND CHAMPION JUNIOR MARE at her first show at only 4 months old! This mare has correct confirmation, a perfect bite, long neck, and a very pretty face with large doe-like eyes. She has produced many quality foals; her 1999 foal was a tiny exquisite palomino filly who was just sold to a show home. Her sire is Landrys Red Pepper, a sorrel frosted appaloosa and her paternal side is Dell Tera breeding. She has had absolutely no foaling problems, and is a great mother. Here is your chance to add a beautiful appaloosa to your brood mare band. Ultrasound in foal to a 29 1/2" son of Inch High Pane in the Glass (refer to syndicate stallion) for a 2000 foal.
