Secret fire like a warning in the night
Ominous spectres twirling about
Watching the footprints of perfectionist dances
Chanting into the flickering light.

Navy to indigo, flames lick the sky
Staring lustfully into darkness
Those lips so hypnotic lead eyes into longing
Lurking in shadows, heart beating dry.

Desire overwhelms, perfection ne'er matched
Fall from the pedestal of this lust
Let minds meet in paragon as sparks reach the stars
Waiting remotely, scarred yet unscratched.

Recharge the fantasy 'till it comes true
Slipping into infatuation
Ever looming on the outside yet deep within
Through the hollow, red hot pain rings true.

My mind is a barren wasteland
Of nothingness
I am drained
My stomach turns
I roam about, not unlike a zombie
I feel restless
Encased in this masoleum
Of a human body
My lighthearted soul struggles
To break through this somber shell
An unseen force
Imprisoning my happiness
I scream for freedom
I lack the means
For another breath of joy.

Tattered and torn,
Revealing splintered bone
Perfection at it's highest peak
In ruins at the core.
A masterpiece of unintentional
Soul congestion;
Glorious and free,
Sparkling eyes, set deep within
A face so cheerless,
Jagged teeth concealed
'Neath lips so soft,
Waiting for the delicate embrace
Of vulnerability
Looming majestically
Beyond probable reach.
