Permatoxicated
Inhaling recreation,
The illogical priority.
Hot tangled arteries
Keep strangling love.
Here's what tomorrow brings
The broken and forgotten child
The pain ripples through
Free convulsive shivers.
Violent dreams,
Broken promises,
And it tastes like murder.

Sleeping House
My eyelids are falling
The sky is falling
I think its time for rain.
The fairies are dancing
On moonlit leaves
And moths seek death in the flame. My fingers are twitching
My hair is on end
The dough refuses to rise.
But deepened and darkened
Roughened and sharpened
My heart beats a tune of demise.

Heroin, the Nun's Obnoxious Pancake Fruitflies, dragonflies,
Grapes and skates and lipstick.
Hopscotch and celophane,
Tuna fish ballistic.
Finger foods and Polkaroo,
Purple tastes like crayon.
Oatmeal and snowplows,
It's a black umbrella nation.

FIN
Bound with iron,
Wrought by the fires of love,
The last chapter writes itself.
The ink is poison,
The pen a dagger,
But the pages are of light.
The ending is conclusive,
Not happy nor tragic
No violence, no death.
Fulfilment in three letters
FIN.
