Dreamer Inspired Cornball Poetry
Every time I close my eyes
I see you standing there
Your face so purely beautiful
Innocent, bright, devious
And your smile is the starry sky
I feel myself spinning with every breath,
The very beat of my heart
I'm dizzy for you
I need you here with me always
And the way you look at me says it all
Take my hand and we'll dance
We can stay in this embrace forever
Cover me in kisses and I'll
Smother you with hugs
But promise me this love will never end.

Life is a Tragedy
And the emptiness weighs down upon my heart,
Thick as a heavy curtain closing on the stage of life
The play is over, love has ended, battles forever lost
And the violin echoes woeful notes upon the walls,
The audience exudes their remorseful applause
In an instant the soul of the theatre is as barren
And reality fades away like a dream at sunrise
Pressing far beyond the reach of measured time.

Small and green
Or purple or black
You keep me craving
Till grapes I do lack
Your delicious taste
Keeps me on my toes
Though drinking the juice
