Admiration of the Fair
Your skin glows silver
In the moonlight,
My imagination
Carries me away.
I'm soaring above
A beautiful rainforest,
Exhilerated by nature
As I shower in a waterfall.
My heart races, and I return
Laying here by your side,
The thought of touching
Your radiant face again
Brings shivers to my spine.
Instinctively I draw closer to you,
The warmth of your body
Exciting me further.
I can feel your heart beating
And the sound it makes
Drives me wild.
I need you now, but I know
I dare not tell you so,
Time passes, and as I hold you
You'll grant my wishes.
You are my genie, heaven-sent
Magical and beautiful.
Your delicate features deceptive
Of the power inside,
The current that you pass on
Each time I look at you.
Such a lovely creature
I marvel at your perfection,
Wishing some day to be
As exquisite as you are
Inside and out.

When Dreams Come True
There are times when the mind is caught
In a dream, a thought, a beautiful idea,
How lovely would it be for such things
Imaginings like these to become reality.
There are times when hopes and dreams
Can fade, becoming nothing.
Realization that dreams are not real,
Thoughts of impossibilty come closer still.
The kind that make the heart a touch sad,
But then go away with the next breeze
And are forgotten like the dreams
They once came from.
Sympathy so quickly gone and yet
A new dream will come to be cherished.
For how long can such aspirations last?
Once realized, a dream is forever gone.
And the mind is filled with happiness,
Although empty, never again to be filled
With the passionate anticipation, or even
The wholesome fluttering inside as the picture
Reveals itself once more in perfection.

Apparition Two
I'm so sleepy
So very sleepy
And as I drift off
In my usual way
I see a creature
More beautiful
Than any other.
She came from far
I know not where
But my dreams now
Are filled by her.
She smiles at me
Sings a song to me
I don't understand
But it speaks to my soul.
Her gentle clothing,
Magnificent wings
Suggesting power
But calling me to her.
I don't fear this beauty
But rather am drawn in,
For her radiance
Is something I wish
I could see for real.
My temporary dreamland
Offers me infinity
But my limited imagination
Is insufficient.
I'll find her again,
Sooner or later,
But for now, I recall
Whenever I can
This sylph whom I think of
As The Beautiful Apparition
