Event News and Updates

Come join us as we celebrate the harvest, hunt and the season with a weekend of relaxation and fun. For your entertainment pleasure we are offering LOTS of Heavy weapons fighting - Friday Night-Torchlight Tourney, Saturday-Bear Pit and Novice Tourney and a Bar Room Brawl. Archery with Wood Shoot, Fencing, Coursing, A&S, and Classes. Shopping (with the cooperation of the Merchants, of course), and Feasting. We have cabin space available as well as camping space. Working animals are welcome. The only other pets allowed are the coursing hounds. They must stay outside the dining hall and kitchen, but please be a courteous pet owner and clean up after them.
The Barony is pleased to announce that Their Majesties will be in attendance. Court will be held at Their Majeties discretion. (last we heard, about 5pm)
NEW ANNOUNCMENTS: Dinner will be served Friday night in the feast hall for a fee. Prices and what is to be served will be posted there. Rumor has it, that beef stew was discussed with additional stuff for side dishes.........

FinTan will be doing the bardic circle after feast in the Picnic Pavillion where evening court was held before feast. Come on out and sing, listen, dance, or just have fun....
Site Fees:
Day-tripper: $5.00 Adult, Children 12 and under $3.00.
Weekend: $8.00 Adult, Children 12 and under $5.00.
Feast Fee:
$6.00 until August 25th, $7.00 after that. Children 12 and under $3.00. Lap-Sitters are free !!!.
Feast is Limited to 100 gentles. Dietary restrictions MUST be in by August 25, 2002.

Only a PAID reservation will be considered reserved. Send reservations to The GateKeeper(Troll) on the contacts page. Make checks payable to: SCA - Marche of Winged Hills.
Merchants:
MERCHANT SPACE IS FULL. NO MORE SPACE AVAILABLE. WOW !!!

This year Merchants will be outside again near the list field. You will need to bring your own tables and shade. Blanket merchants are welcome too !!! Please contact the merchant liason for space availability and such, room is running out fast !!!

Pet Policy: Working pets are always welcome.
The only other leashed pets allowed are the hounds that are coursing. Only working animals are allowed in the feast hall. All other pets should stay out of the kitchen and the hall please. Please be a responsible pet owner and come prepared to clean up after your pets little bundles.

Site Times:
Friday Night: Site opens
Friday : Troll from 6:00pm till 12:00am
Saturday: Troll opens - 8:00am till 4:00pm
Sunday : Site closes at 12:00 Noon
