Psalms is used by both the Hebrew and Christians even in todays time.
Psalms were written for the heart to worhip God in church, in the home, in every
circumstance of a persons life.
When you find yourself in deep need
You can always find a psalm that expresses your deepest feelings.
When you are in great happiness as well, Psalms are there for you too.
It is for all people in need, sick, in danger, persecuted, lonely, happy, or
hurting from a relationship.
A book for the sinner,
telling him of Gods love and forgiveness and leading him into new
experieces with the Lord, telling him of Gods laws in their perfection,
and promising blessings in your life.
Psalms shows a power in the wisdom of the Word of God.
God wants to give each of us his wisdom that we may use it in all our life.
Billy Graham once stated he read a chapter a day from Proverbs and 5 Psalms
daily, so that each book was read completely once a month. They gave him
spiritual food for daily living.
No other book of the bible contains such awesome and thoughtful wisdom.
The book of Psalms along with the prophet books of Isaiah,
Jeremiah, and Ezekiah shows Gods love for you. How he longs for your love.
You can get to know Gods ancient people and love them and understand them
and their lives by reading these books. Let the love of God and awe of his
everlasting love guide you in your life.
God forgives freely when you come to him. YOu are in protection from his
judgement by the love of mercy found in Christ.
You will grow in grace, faith, and love, as you read these books.
