O Prince of Peace, we humbly ask Your protection for all out men and women in military service. Give them unflinching courage to defend with honor, dignity and devotion the rights of all who are imperiled by injustice and evil. Guard our churches, our homes, our schools, our hospitals, our factories, our buildings and all those within from harm and peril. Protect our land and its peoples from enemies within and without. Grant an early peace with victory founded upon justice. Instill in the hearts and minds of men and women everywhere a firm purpose to live forever in peace and good will toward all. Amen.
Queen of the Holy Rosary, we implore you to bless our military forces at home and abroad. Guide their steps into the way of peace. Amen.
Our Father. Hail Mary. Glory Be.
V. The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit
Hail Mary, etc.
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R. Be it done unto me according to Your word.
Hail Mary, etc.
V. And the Word was made flesh.
R. And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary, etc.
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech You, O Lord, Your grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Your Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may, by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the Glory of the Resurrection, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
O Jesus, who in Thy bitter passion did become "the most abject of men, a man of sorrows", I venerate Thy Sacred Face whereon there once did shine the beauty and sweetness of the Godhead; but now It has become as it were the face of a leper! Nevertheless under those disfigured features, I recognize your infinite Love, and I am consumed with the desire to love Thee and make Thee loved by all men. The tears which well up so abundantly in Thy sacred eyes appear to me as so many precious pearls that I love to gather up, in order to purchase the souls of poor sinners by means of their infinite value.
O Jesus whose adorable face ravishes my heart, I implore Your help in this time of great need. May You grant us peace on Earth and may Your marvelous presence bless and reign in all corners of the world.
I carry this cross in my pocket to remind me of who I can be.
If I take up my cross and follow wherever my Savior leads me
The cross is not there as a token, or a prize I can brag about.
It's there as a personal reminder of something I can't live without.
It reminds me of Jesus my Savior who died for me and now lives.
Each day I remember my new life and the blessings and gifts He gives.
I carry this cross in my pocket along with my money and keys.
I keep it close by to remind me of what's most important to me.
This cross also is a reminder of the love that I feel in my heart
For all of my fellow believers, a family of which I'm a part.
So I carry a cross to remind me, that along with my family and home.
I take with me the love of Christ Jesus; with that I am never alone.
Dearest Lord, Teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve; to give, and not count the cost;
to fight, and not to heed the wounds; to labor, and not to seek to rest;
to give of myself and not to ask for reward,
except the reward of knowing that I am doing Your will. Amen.
My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for He has looked on His servant in her lowliness.
For behold, henceforth, all generations shall call me blessed; for He who is mighty has done
great things for me, and holy is His name;
And His mercy is from age to age
on those who fear Him.
He has shown strength with His arm,
He has scattered the proud-hearted, He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly; He has filled the hungry with good things, sent the rich away empty.
He has helped His servant Israel, remembering his mercy, as He spoke to our fathers to Abraham and to His seed for ever. Amen.
Make yourself familiar with the angels, and behold them frequently in spirit; for without being seen, they are present with you. Amen.
God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change... the Courage to change the things I can... and the Wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
Great Spirit Grant that I may not criticize my neighbor until I have walked a mile in his moccasins. Amen.
May the Lord Bless you and keep you. May He let His face shine upon you and be gracious to you! May He look upon you kindly and give you His peace. Amen.
Holy God, Creator of all life, You compare Your love for Your people to the love of a mother for her children. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, abundantly bless my own dear mother.
She taught me how to stand and to walk; Give her now the strength of Your Spirit. She showed me how to speak and to pray; Surround her now with the sound of Your voice. She nurtured me and loved me into life; Tenderly touch her now with Your joy and peace.
Grant her the serenity and rich fulfillment of a job well done, a life well lived. Forgive all her mistakes and frustrations. Reward all her sacrifices and self-giving. May she, who carried life in her womb, be gently welcomed into Your Divine Embrace, to rejoice for all eternity with everyone she loved and cared for. Amen.
