In his first Nascar Busch Series event at Myrtle Beach in '97, he started 7th and finished 13. His 1st victory was on
April 4,1998 at the Texas Motor Speedway. After that, he won at Dover, Milwaukee, Fontana, Indianapolis, Richmond and St. Louis.
