I would like to thank, DarkPhoenix87, sean245, CAW Evolution and others for their contribution to this FAQ.

I reformatted the Questions and Answers (Order, some Grammar etc.) to make them reader friendly:

Question

How much Does it Cost?

Answer

$19.99 is retail Price

Question

Where Can I get one?

Answer

CircuitCity, EBGames, Target and other Major VideoGame/Electronic Stores)

Question

Can you buy this in a store or only online, or both?

Answer

Both

Question

Is it only available in North America?

Answer

As far as I know yes. I don't know where else the GSD is available. If you live outside of North America would try import stores to check for availability/compatibility

Question

What are the problems you will run into if you use Windows XP?

Answer

On XP, it says some warning like installing the GSD could mess up your system but I think that’s because its not suppose to work on XP. I have had no problems what so ever.

For future reference, a little message may come up saying that installing this hardware will cause problems is because it wasn't made to work on XP. So far no problem has occurred

Question

If I do get a GameSave device it would be only to transfer logos, but I'm not sure if you can copy logos from game to game. Is it possible? I don't want to erase my current game, so I would use an auxiliary memory card I have that semi works to put the gamesave onto, then copy everything to my memory card.

So anyway to copy patterns from card to card?

Answer

Sorry you can't transfer logos from one card to the other. I wish you could, but you can't

THQ/Yukes just didn't include that option (to copy logos form one card to the other)

Question

Do I lose my other created players?? Like I made a lot of guys on my main memory card if I load lets say Hulk Hogan then do I lose all of those people

Answer

You won't lose your CAWs if you use Slot B Copy in CAS (Create-A-Superstar).
If you go to CAS and select an empty slot, you'll notice the Slot B Copy option at the bottom of the list of options. Your GSD card should be in slot B and your primary memory card in slot A.

Slot B Copy lets you copy CAWs (but not the logos) from one card to the other.

The GSD memory card (though it can be used as a normal GC memory card) should be used merely as a means of transferring CAWs from PC to GC
