The last owner had the car running in 210 km/h and thats fast! Well, the car has wankel motor, a very special motor type. Some people says that this motor is no good, but thats not right! If you are careful with the car, the motor will last.

Felix Wankel was born August 13, 1902 at Schillerstrasse 11 (4?) in Lahr in the Black Forest in Swabia in Germany (Otto, Daimler, and Benz also came from Swabia). He was the only child of Rudolf Wankel (1867-1914), a senior forestry official (Grossh. Bad. Oberfoerster, Forstassessor, Forstbeamten), and Martha Gertrud (Gerty) Heidlauff (1879-?). His father was killed in August 1914 by schrapnel at Dornach (Elsass (Alsace?)) in World War I as an Oberleutnant. For many years, nobody was interested in Felix`s ideas, but when he finished the wankel motor, he became very famous. The technical university in Munchen gave him the honor title : Dr. Ing. e. h. and made him a very rich man.
