Hillbilly Happenings Pt. 2

HILLBILLY HAPPENINS
Part II

  • January 1 came with very little glitches other than than the Les/James bug so I guess the only question is -
What am I going to do with all this spam?:-)

  • Les and James got me good. They came out here New Years Eve, Parked down the road, Snuck through the Pasture and cut my main power off outside at midnight. Today its funny. Yesterday I could have killed them.
Luke is still ribbing me about it because of course he was in on it!
It was even funnier than the prank he played on Shelly that involved a Baby Ruth and a Diaper.

  • With Y2K fast approaching, Luke & I had a ball hiding all Carol's propane tanks!

  • Mom, Tracy, Bryce, Luke & I all loaded up and took Bailey Jo to Wal-Mart to get her ears pierced.
It didn't turn out as well as we had hoped. We have nicknamed her One Earring Owens.

  • Luke and I are officially married. Ain't love grand?

  • My first visit to our web page in long time. It's been so hectic around here.
I was amazed to see that our web page counter is reading over 2000 visits!

  • Bryce now has his own email.
      buttmanrulez@hotmail.com

  • Les came out for some wine. (He thinks this is Vaughan Package Liquor! :-) He chose watermelon. He said it almost exploded. I think maybe the watermelon was too ripe when I made it.
Next time he'll know to mooch eldeberry wine!

  • Christmas was great. Bailey is at the right age to really make Christmas enjoyable. The highlight however was Bryce's face when he recieved an earring. Afterwards we gorged ourselves and watched a movie marathon. Grandma Shirley & Grandpa Albert made it down for a visit after Christmas. It was good to see them & the rest of the family.

  • Mom got a new toy, a laptop. As much as I hate to endorse anything by Bill Gates, I have to admit it's pretty cool.

  • Over Thanksgiving, The whole family got together at the Teen Center. It was really good to see my family that lives out of town/state. I couldn't believe how much everyone's kids had grown.

  • Congratulations to Robert on the new baby, Laura!

  • Justin & Ryan got a computer. I am anxiously waiting for them to get online!

  • Christopher is doing really well at wrestling. Following in David's footsteps, I guess.
Glad to see someone in the family besides me is so athletic.
(Surfing the net is a sport, isnt it?)

  • Mom is enjoying country life. It's our goal to make her a bigger hillbilly than us!

  • Our Business is really taking off. We are getting new customers daily and meeting alot of great people. That why these happenings are so small. We don't have much free time anymore. We really enjoy it though.
If you get a chance, check out our Vaughan Electric webpage.

  • Luke got a doe and a 7 pointer during shotgun season.
Of course, we were all impressed with Joey's three legged deer.

  • Luke got a button buck the first night of season.

  • The Internet hot deals just keep arriving via UPS. Luke says my neice, Bailey is going to start calling him daddy because she sees him so much.

  • Been thrilled with all the rewards from the test drives. Almost 300.00 worth of savings bonds and gifts.

  • Made almost 50 2 liter bottles of wine. Watermelon, eldeberry, grape (Thanks Rocky), apple (Thanks Teresa), and fruit. Now if we could find time to drink it!

  • The garden is done, the canning is finished and the hay is baled. Time to relax.
Oh I forgot we still have to remodel. Of well, who needs free time?

  • Nanny had her babies. Bailey was so excited she got to see them born. Now she spends all her free time chasing them around the yard. There were 2 little billies. She named them Bryce & Bryce (after her brother and her boyfriend).
She's dating an older man, Bryce Nolan. He is three.
