1.Have a red and blue version and both players must have all 150 Pokemon. Trade a Dratini from the red version to the blue version.
2.Have the blue version evolve it into a its next stage.
3.Trade it back to the red version.
4.Now go to the dungeon where you found Mewtwo and surf nearest to where you found him.
5.Use a Fire Stone on the evolved Dratini, it will say not available but you can use it anyways. Then it will start to evolve into Yoshi. It's moves will be the same as they were before but its ID will be 999. (I got this code from a friend who scanned a pic of his Yoshi from his Pokemon game on his GB.)
This code is actually comprised of several different codes sent in by readers. Alone, they're not as exciting, but put them together and you have the code you've been waiting for! And here's how you do it! First, return back to Viridian City and talk to the man who taught you how to catch a Weedle (he is near the Gym where you face Giovanni). Reply "No" to his question, then watch him catch a Weedle. Then, place the item you want 99 of as number six from the top (we recommend Rare Candy or the Master Ball if you still have it). To switch items, press Select while pointing to an item, then move the arrow where you want the item to go and push Select again. Both items will switch places. Now, FLY back to Cinnabar Island and start SURFING along the east coast of Cinnabar like in the Missingno. code below. This time, however, you will face a different messed up Pokémon, with a name comprised of symbols and the letter M (players refer to him as M). Defeat him or run away but do NOT capture it. When it is defeated, you will have over 100 of the sixth item on your list! The number will actually be a symbol followed by a number If you want to repeat this trick, you'll need to talk to the man again. Keep in mind that you may be surfing for a while before you face M. This trick also works when you capture Missingno. However, since this uses parts of the Missingno code, there will be some side effects (look at the Missingno code below). You can also duplicate expensive items and sell them back to earn lots of money! Thanks to all the players who sent in codes!
Mew does not exist with just a normal code. You have to have a GameEnhancer, don't belive any other codes! To see the GameShark and GameGenie code for Mew, scroll down a little.
The Pikablu Code Works For GameShark! Thats right, you can get Pikablu with GameShark! Scroll down a little to see it in the GameShark section!
Go to area of SAFARI ZONE where the particular Pokémon you have your eyes on resides. (e.g., KANGASKHAN in 2nd of 4 sections next to starting section) Run around in that area until the time runs out Head straight to SEAFOAM ISLANDS and SURF just along the edge in the water (up and down on the coast) and SAFARI ZONE Pokémon from that particular area will attack!
Only you will know if it works, Using any Poké Ball, press up and B at the same time as soon as you see the ball flying toward the Pokémon. I've never really gotten this to work, but players say it does, and Nintendo's Ask Dan said it works with Ultra Balls.
FLY to Cinnabar Island. Go into the Pokemon Research Lab, (The place where they ressurect Pokemon fossils,) and trade with one of the people in there. Then go to rightmost part of the island, and start SURFing up and down the coast line so that it looks like your Pokemon is on half land, half water. Keep going up and down until you encounter a wild Pokemon. The screen will freeze black for about 5 to 10 seconds. Then you will be fighting a scrambled square shaped thingy, that is Missingno. Do not, repeat do not send out your strongest Pokemon to catch it! You will most likely make it faint in one hit because it's defense totally stinks. Send out you weakest Pokemon and use a medium powerful attack. After catching him, save the game and turn it off. Turn it back on and then you can use him! Follow the directions exactly, otherwise you won't catch him. For more information, click here.
Put Magikarp at top of list and let Ditto transform into a Magikarp. Then switch Pokémon--Ditto is easy to fight and catch!
When you throw a Safari Ball, the instant you see the ball materialize, start rotating the pad from the left in a counterclockwise motion at a semi-slow speed. I have been able to catch the most difficult Pokemon in the Safari Zone multiple times. It's not 100% effective, but it is in the 80% area, and the ones that escape the ball and run away, I usually catch the next Pokemon right away. I want to be sure this is a legitimate trick, so I call on everyone to try it on your GBs in the Safari Zone.
To fight Prof. Oaks
First you have to have fly on a pokemon and surf before you can do this. First you fly down to the Cinnabar Island. Go to the edge of the island and use surf. Move along the edges of the island (the bottom and the right side) and keep doing that until you run into Prof. Oaks. If you did this you may have encounter different strange pokemon. It may take 15 min but it is worth the time to fight him. Have fun!!!
