Main Characters

Miki Koishkawa

"Positive through prone to fits of self-doubt, Miki is a typical high school girl, except for one major detail: her parents are swapping partners with another couple and they are all moving in together. To complicate things more, Miki finds herself attracted to the other couple's son, Yuu, who is moving in as her new 'brother.' This confuses her longtime friendship with Ginta. Through these trying times, Miki confides in her best friend, Meiko. Well-liked in spite of uncontrolled emotional outbursts, Miki can be a little naive at times. Blood Type:A. Sign:Aries(March 28). Yuu Matsuura

"Confident yet introspective and moody, Yuu also has a playful sense of humour, teasing Miki often. He is a budding architect and he seems unconcerned about family upheaval. Due to a traumatic childhood incident, Yuu holds tight reign on his emotions which makes it difficult for Miki to decipher what's on his mind. His desire to find the truth behind that secret trauma, constantly threatens to undo the bond between Miki and himself. Miki once described him as marmalade because 'he looks nice on the outside but inside he's all bitter." He sings. Blood Type: B. Sign: Gemini (June 3). Voice: Tarou Okiauryou. "

Ginta Suou

"Ginta is a long-time friend upon whom Miki used to have a crush. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the feelings were never reciprocated through Ginta still has feelings for her. A willing pawn in Arimi's ploy to get Yuu. Ginta inadvertantly falls for Arimi instead. Even so, he continues to be overly protective of Miki. He is short tempered, prone to the occasional jealous outburst. Blood Type: O. Sign:Aries (April 10). Voice: Kanemaru Junichi."

Meiko

"Mature and reserved, Meiko is concealing the pain of her parents' collapsing marriage from her friends. She is best friends with-and a sympathetic ear to-Miki. She regularily has to fend off the unwanted approaches of Satoshi, because secretly she is already in love with someone else. Fiercely proud, Meiko appears to have the most stable demeanor of her peers. She is an aspiring author. Blood Type: A. Sign: Scorpio (October 28). Voice: Yamazaki Wakana."

Arimi

"Arimi is a former girlfriend of Yuu back in Junior High, but it was a rather a one-sided affair. Still pining for him, she tries to separate Yuu and Miki by conspiring to use Ginta as a pawn to make them jealous. Unfortunately, her plan backfires. She finds herself falling for Ginta and his rogueish charms. She also has contend with the unwanted, persistant advances of Rokutandou. She is obviously is admired by many boys- she even has a fanclub dedicated to her. Blood Type: O. Sign: Leo. Voice: Hisakawa Aya."

Satoshi

"Handsome Satoshi is the president of the student council. Because of his seeming uninterest in girls, rumours abound about his orientation. However, he has the hots for Meiko who generally ignores her peristent advances. He and Yuu are very close-maybe a little to close. He is the son of the famous architect, Yoshimitsu Miwa, and thinks very highly of himself. He plays bass guitar. Voice: Otha Shinichirou." Blood Type: AB. Sign: Sagittarius.

Rokutandou

"Rokutandou is a unwanted suitor of Arimi, even though it is quite obvious that she detests him. Though he tries to act tough, he's really a big wuss. Ginta is is his cousin and rival. His brash challenges against Ginta and Yuu result in him losing face, as well as his hair. Voice: Tanaka Kazunari." Blood Type:??. Sign: ??.

Anju

"Still longing for Yuu, Anju has known him since they were just 12 years old. Sickly, due to a life-endangering disease, she hadn't seen Yuu for several years until a chance meeting him at the train station. Despite her feelings for him, she does not want to interfere with his current relationship. She got her nickname "Anne" from her favourite book Anne of Green Gables. Voice: Inoue Kikuko."

Kei

"Secretive and conniving, Kei is a talented yet reluctant pianist who works with Miki at the Bobson's Ice Cream Shop. Fully aware of her relationship with Yuu, he nonetheless conspires to obtain Miki for himself. Although she finds him brusque, Miki henpecks him into playing the piano again. Voice: Ishida Akira."

Suzu

"Ultra-cute fashion model Suzu is SAtoshi's first cousin. Her father, Rihito, is also an architect and best friend of Satoshi's dad. In fact, Rihito married Yoshimitsu's sister. Suzu falls for Yuu and tricks him into being her math tutor. Naturally, this is only a ruse to get him alone in her room. Unsophisticated and immature, Suzu also suckers him into a modelling job. Voice: Tange Sakura."

The Parents

"Quite unlike regular couples, Miki and Yuu's parents decide to swap partners after a trip to Hawaii. THey are unconventional, to say the least, and seem put out by Miki's initial resistance to the whole idea. Rumi & Chiyako (the moms) and Jin & Youji get along famously, always laughing and living life to the fullest."

The Teachers

Shinichi

"Known as Na-Chan to most students. Namura is a teacher at the highschool. He is having a secret affair with one of his students. Namura is popular with the students who perfer his relaxed, unorthodox teaching style. Back in his highschool days, he was close friends with Ryouko and Takuji. He is forced to resign once his tryst is exposed. Blood Type: A. Sign: Pisces. Voice: Touru Furuya."

Takuji Kijima

"The bohemian owner of the Junk Jungle clothing emporium and Yuu's boss. In highschool he dated Ryouko but broke up with her when he realized that she really liked Namura. He is the one who tells the idealistic would-be lovers the legend of the medallion. Basically, one puts into it a picture of the object of their desire, and they are destined to be together forever."

Ryouko Momoi

"Ryouko is a teacher at the high school who has been in love with Namura-sensei since their school days. However, she never expressed her feelings and continues to regret it. Voice: Kakinuma Shino."
