This child was so smart, he could do so much, so soon in his life. He learned how to use his own VCR (putting the TV on and putting the tape in the VCR) to watch "Blues Clues"- his favorite show. One of the things he loved to do was dance. All you had to do was play a little "Garth" & then look-out 'cause he would be spinning, rocking and swaying all over the carpet (at times I thought he was gonna wear it out) he would be tearing up the rugs!!! At times when I'm in the car & certain songs come on I can still see him spinning!
Jackson, whom I love with all my heart, is my Godson, my boy, as well as Deana & John's. I will miss him terribly until I can see him again (I can't wait). It breaks my heart to know that he is gone- but it kills me that his parents have to learn to deal with him not being around for the rest of their lives.
It would take a million words to tell you how special this kid was if you never met him. You missed the best thing on earth, if you did know him consider yourself lucky & loved by him.
I spend many days thinking, crying and missing "the boy" as well as many other people. All I can say is he was the best, with the best little butt in town. You just had to bite it!!!!! That is just another thing we will all miss.
Jackson, "my boy", my "muffin man", I know that you are still around us flying with those "angel wings". You had them from the day you came into this world. You were an angel sent by God to bring us joy & happiness for a short time. You will always be in my heart, my godson forever.
I love you today, tomorrow & always!!!!!
All my love,
Your Godmother, Aunt Jess
Jackson and his Aunt Jess
This picture was taken 3 days after Jackson came home from the hospital. Jess was so proud to be holding him and yet so afraid because he was so small. He was 6 lbs. 10 oz! Her eyes would always light up when she was around him.
Jess with Jackson, Sept. 1997
This picture was taken in September, Jackson was 4 months old here. Our Aunt Bea was at our home for a visit and took this picture.
Jackson decided to take a nap!
This is Jess's favorite picture for obvious reasons. He looks so sweet and content in this picture. He was 4 1/2 months old in this picture.
