It's the middle of rush hour in Los Angeles, and in a few hours Jessica Simpson will be on a late-night flight bound for Orlando, FL. It's only been two days since her last cross-country, red-eye plane ride, and she's dreading the trip, not to mention the thought of leaving her boyfriend, 98 degrees Nick Lachey, yet again. But she's found a formula to make her last few hours count before pop-diva duty calls: a little bit of shopping first, a lot of feasting later. A quick visit to Abercrombie & Fitch with Nick and her little sister, Ashlee, for a pair of comfy flight pants and she's ready to roll in the silver Mercedes convertible she splurged on just the day before. Destination: Outback Steakhouse. The minutes to takeoff are tick-tocking away, but Jessica doesn't mind. The top's down, the sun is setting and there's a Bloomin' Onion waiting for her at the end of the highway.
