I am constantly struggling to apprehend the true nature of things,
not just what they appear to be. Everything has an existence beyond
just what we can see--everything is comprised of energy, both visible and
non-visible. Electrons are constantly whizzing around, magnetic fields
are created and destroyed in fractions of seconds. It is this existence
that I seek to understand--not just the scientific facets thereof, but the
subtler energies for which science has no name.
Everything exists beyond this visible, physical plane. People and other
living things extend beyond this plane with magnetic fields and subtler bodies
we call "spirits" or "auras" or "souls" for lack of a better word.
Sometimes entities are found that exist only outside of this plane.
We call these entities spirits, ghosts, angels, and a million other
things. In a nutshell, they are extra-physical entities--ones that
have little or no appreciable existence in this physical plane.
In order to study these entities, it is necessary to interact with them.
How? Call them, of course.

Ceremonial Magick is about calling entities and hoping that they answer.
The fluff such as candles, incense, seals, sigils, and such are nice as a
focus point.
It's the mind that does the work.

I find that some people choose to call me evil due to my chosen area of study.
It is their choice to do so, because I do not control the way they
believe, however, they should understand before making categorizations that
not all magick-users are evil, and not all evil people use magick. In
the same way, not all priests are Catholic, and not all Catholics are priests.
Hopefully, you understand the analogy.
Personally, I do not have those kind of ties. It is possible that those
entities who exist in lower frequencies may recognize my name. However,
I could only be considered a Satanist if I worshipped them or their Master.
I do not. As a matter of fact, I normally communicate with the
higher-frequency creatures--malakim and the like. I find them more
personable. This does not mean, however, that I am Christian or Jewish
or anything else. I simply commune with these entities. If you
called the phone company with a question, does that mean you work for them?
Of course, that doesn't mean I can't contract out. ;-)
