Children on Lae Atoll (Randy Erekson)
Lae Atoll

Lae Atoll is located about 90 miles west of Kwajalein Atoll. The population of less than 300 is dependant on weekly Air Marshall Islands flights and infrequent RMI ships for support. High frequency radio is used for off-island communication.
