Founding of Rent A Rogue

Emily Janson and Alison Sky sat together during a few minutes of free time, talking to each other about everything from the pronunciation of Tycho's name to the whereabouts of Janson's Ewok doll. Finally, Alison brought the doll out and let Emily play with it for a bit. While she played, and idea formed in Alison's head.

"Hey Em" Alison started, "you know, I was thinking about how everyone in our group loves the Rogues and Wraiths. But there are only so many soldiers, and too many of us. I mean, you and I are both fighting over Wes, and I know others want Tycho when he has Winter already, and everyone wants Wedge, but he has Iella."

"So what can we do?"

Alison smiles and holds up a set of keys. Emily examines them. "Where do those bring us?" She asked.

"Wayland."

"Way-what?"

Alison smiled. She put her arm along Emily's shoulder and the two walked towards Alison's ship. "We're going to need a few supplies. Duct tape, silly string, Janson's Ewok doll, and I think I'll be calling Face to come and help." Emily nodded and the two started to form their plan.

Meanwhile, a shop suddenly appeared next to Q's bar and grill. In the window was a sign.

COMING SOON – RENT A ROGUE!

The sign being posted had drawn a lot of attention to the shop, so Emily and Alison worked fast. While Emily went off to decorate the shop, Alison did the hard bargaining. First, she went to Wayland and offered C'booth Luke Skywalker's hand for 12 fully operational cloning capsules.

Then, she went to the unknown regions and returned with a woman with her head in a brown sac. Returning to the shop, Alison set up the back storeroom as her private laboratory, then uncovered the head of her prisoner.

"Why do you want me?' Qwi Xux asked, tugging at the electroshock collar around her neck.

"You have done more horrors to the world with your inventions. Then, you played with the heart of our almighty animist god, Wedge Antilles. For your crimes, I have decided to make you repent in helping us bring back happiness to at least one group of people you hurt."

"And what am I to do?" Qwi asked.

"You will maintain this cloning facility. Keep it in operational order, and you will be treated fairly. Otherwise, I will make you feel the pain you inflicted on others."

Qwi nodded. Suddenly, there was a knock on the back door. Alison rushed to answer it.

Face stood at the entrance, dressed in Agamar gear. "Is this the house of horror?" he asked, nodding his head in Agamar fashion.

"Yes it is," Alison asked, keeping her laughter inside. Face came in, and once the door was closed, he shrugged out of the awfully colored shirt. From under his cloak her pulled out a large box and handed it to Alison. Inside were a set of 50 vials of blood, each labeled with a pilot's name.

"What are you going to do with those?" he asked.

"Just test for STD's," Alison replied quickly. "Need to keep the boys and girls safe, right?"

Face gave her a sidelong glance, then nodded. "Well, I have to get back to the Wraiths. Talk to you soon."

Alison watched Face leave, then turned to Qwi. Make copies of all current Rogues and Wraiths, starting with Wedge, Wes, Tycho, Hobbie, Corran, Face, Kell, Tyria, P'loour, Fel, Inyri, and... and farmboy. When they are done, call me."

Alison left Qwi with her work, then went out to see what Emily was doing. She had decorated the front receiving room in Reds, Greens and Grays with pictures of the Rogues and Wraiths and prices. A changing room with three outfit choices, Tux, Full Dress Uniforms, and Flight Suit, stood on the side.

"We'll keep them in the upstairs pilot's lounge, and they will come down this emergency pole when activated," Emily said, checking her lists. "Oh, and we had better make extra copies of the fab four. They will be in demand. You got our staff slave?"

"She's already started. We should have our first batch by Monday."

Emily smiled. "I'm going to go over to talk to Q about promotional offers. Maybe a discount between the two companies. I was also pondering us giving some profits for him to make a dance floor at his place."

"Good idea," Alison said. "You go do that, and I'll start taking orders. Oh, and how's the commercial coming?"

"Being aired sometime soon. Don't worry, we'll do wonderful, and soon Rent-A-Rogues will be on every corner in Coruscant."

Emily left and Alison went to sit behind her desk. Smiling, she put her phone earpiece in her ear, put her feet up, and pulled out her copy of "How to Dodge" and waited for orders to start coming in.
