Other Things I Enjoy...Ah, yes...the moment of truth. Aside from acting and theatre I have other things that I enjoy. I guess we should start with music. I will always be a Queen fan. I don't know why so don't ask me. I just know when I hear them play on the radio or a CD my skin still gets goosebumps to this day. Maybe its the lavish yet powerfully noticable voice of the late great Freddie Mercury. Or maybe its the enchanting sounds of Brian May's guitar. Or even the pulsating feels of John Deacon's bass or the incredible beats of Roger Taylor's drums. I couldn't really tell you. All I know is that QUEEN ROCKS!!!! Then of course there's Tori Amos. She's beautiful. Her piano music is titelating. I love her. The Indigo Girls are fantastic with their guitars. I could listen to them all day. Wow...come to think of it there's a lot of music I like. I guess I'll just have to stick to the basics. So my last basic one would be that I am a closet lover of Irish Music. Hell, I love the Irish Culture which is kind of funny coming for a Pure bred Puerto Rican. I may have been born in America but my heritage is purely Puerto Rican. I'm not ashamed of it, but for some reason Irish music and their history have always tugged at my heart strings. I've just fallen in love with the Irish Tenors. And I love the sound of the Irish Fiddle. I could listen to that forever and ever and ever. I can't say why either. It's been like that for as long as I can remember. I think maybe in my past life I must have either been an Irish lad, las, or some sort of rock which so happend to be located in Ireland. If I listen to Danny Boy I start to cry like a blubbering child. Don't ask. I'm still trying to figure it out. Oh you see! There you go! I'm going on and on about it aren't I?As far as books are concerned, I love Edward Gorey...although I don't own any of his books. He's passed on by the way. It was very devistating when I found out about it. A legend has left the planet. I'm also a great fan of Edgar Allan Poe. What I would give to have had the opportunity to meet that man. He had a lot of wisdom in that very lonely mind of his. We probably would have gotten along quite well. I'm also a great fan of Roald Dahl. He wrote works such as "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory", "The Twits", "The BFG", "Witches", etc. He really inspired me to be a writer when I was younger. I love the works of Tennessee Williams. I could read straight through his plays. It's funny. I'm just getting into Eugene O' Neill. Its taken me a little bit, but I'm actually slowly falling for him. We can't forget Christopher Durang! No siree! He has great wit in his plays. You guys have to check him out! But I warn you...his plays are not for the weak of heart or the sound of mind. You'll love him, trust me! As far as movies are concerned, I'm not sure I have any favorites. They're just too many, and I'm not sure there'd be enough room on this page. For starters I loved the movie "American Beauty". Kevin Spacey rocks! I also loved the movie "Boys Don't Cry" along with "The Sixth Sense." "Auntie Mame" and "Payton Place" are also small favorites of mine because they just tickle my heart. "Fargo" was just fantastic. I also did enjoy the movies "Big Night" and "Basquiat." I think David Bowie stole that movie big time. He played a great Andy Warhall. Oh yeah, and who can ever forget "Drop Dead Fred." That movie affected me as a young teenager because I was able to totally relate with what the film was trying to say. There are just too many to name right now. I'm a huge South Park fan. Who can ever forget "OH MY GOD YOU KILLED KENNY! YOU BASTARD!!!! or "BEEF CAKE! BEEF CAKE!!! And of course there's "TIMMEH!!!!" I'll always love that cartoon regardless of what other people think. I don't think I'll even start with food. There's just too much of it. I'll practically eat anything because I'm basically willing to try anything. One of these days I'll drop dead from something I wasn't supposed to eat. My favorite season is Spring time because of the even weather. Though, I do love the leaves in the autumn. It's funny how nature can look so beautiful in the form of dried up leaf. You would never think as you were staring at all the colored leaves on the trees that they were dying... I do love my dog, Pinky. He's a taco bell dog. I call him that because I can't spell the damn breed. So, he's just a taco bell dog to me. He's got quite a way about him. Aside from pissing on my visitors, he also sings to the cranberries and maybe even the Indigo Girls. He's what keeps me sane when I get home after a long day at work or at rehearsal. I swear, he can make me laugh when I'm just about ready to break down and cry. I don't have much of a preferance when it comes to guys so don't ask. It happens when it happens. That's all I can say. Well, that's about all for now. When I think of some other things, I'll add them on.
