My Little Plastic Castle

Welcome to My Little Plastic Castle!! Make your self at home in the fish bowl. The fish won't bite, I promise. For those of you who don't know me, My name is Jamie. I'm a 20 year old female. I live an hour south of Chicago, but I go to ISU in Bloomington/Normal.

And most of all, I love music! Music is one of my passions. I had played viola for 7 years or so (I'm just now getting back into playing again) and I also sang in choir in high school. I love musicals and theatre, and was in both of those in high school too.

I also love to go to concerts. I like mostly metal music (w/ some exceptions), and love the rush of being in a crowd with hundreds of people. My favorite artists are Static-x, Tori Amos, Stabbing Westward, Staind, Ani DiFranco, Deftones, Tool, Disturbed, and Orgy. I have many other favorites too like coheed and cambria and the juliana theory.

I'm also an animal activist, making another one of my passions animals. My first summer at ISU I worked in an ecology lab with mosquitos and for a short time I worked in another ecology lab with grasshoppers.

Some of my hobbies are swimming, dancing, playing tennis, singing, writing and reading poetry, reading, drawing/painting, writing songs, bowling, playing pool, listening to music, playing my viola, going to concerts, and hanging out with my friends, and I also love any kind of water sports. Well, I think that's about it for now.

I also enjoy rugby. I played for Illinois State Rugby (fall of '01).

I'm going to try to put up pictures of me, my family, and my friends too when I get more time.
