Around 1998 (possibly earlier), Brian Tegart created BVDB (Bible Versions Discussion Board). Initially, BVDB was located on "Bravenet," but due to the lackluster performance and features of Bravenet boards at that time, it was decided that a new host be found. Thanks to early participant Wayne Leman, "EZ Boards" was discovered, and so Bravenet was left in favor of EZ Boards.
