Brief History:

Fearing another Great War and other alien governments trying to topple or control the newly established Maximal Alliance, the Maximal High Council established a division that would be capable of watching the Predacons, Decepticons and all suspected enemies of the Maximal Alliance and thus the Maximal Secret Police (MSP) was born. A rising member of the Maximal High Council (MHC) was selected to be the first Head of the MSP. His name was Stopper, who to this day continues to function as the Head of the MSP.

General Information:

Being an intelligence agency, most of the operations the MSP performs are kept secret to all, including to members of the MHC. MHC members that do know of MSP operations, have only a very limited knowledge. Rumors in circulation state essentially that the MSP is Maximal in name only; means and methods being extremely brutal. Such rumors have caused the MSP to be un-trusted by the public at large. Though no one can deny that the MSP is a very effective organization and so the MHC is willing to ignore such accusations/look the other way.

MSP agents are not volunteers. Protoforms given to the MSP by the Maximal High Council are carefully screened and checked over. The ones that are picked, are made into MSP agents. Once online, MSP agents spend the first 10 stellar cycles of their lives in an MSP 'conditioning program'. Only recently have the details of this program been released. It seems that during the first part of the program, the Maximals are isolated, constantly beaten and tortured, in an effort to educate them on MSP policies. If they survive this stage, they move onto 'basic training'. During this stage, each Maximal is assigned a trainer, who teaches the Maximal how to fight and survive. Many consider this portion much rougher then the first, but the program overall is very effective. After completion of the conditioning program, the Maximal becomes a full fledged MSP agent.

Important to note; MSP agents are generally referred to as; 'slugs', by non-MSP personal. No one is quite sure how this name came about. Some agents take it as an insult and some are indifferent about it.

Base of Operations:

The MSP's main headquarters is the 'MSP Tower' located in the Maximal capital city, on Cybertron. The building is the tallest and most secure building on Cybertron. The tower is dark black in color, no windows can be seen from the outside and the higher up you go, the thinner it gets.
