Brief History:

At a time of corruption a group of Maximals whom were in different areas of power saw that the internal threats could be more dangerous to the Maximal Alliance than even the Predacons. These Maximals formed a group that operated secretly for years. It is still unknown who is in charge of the group, but a few members have gone public.

The MIS was partially responsible for the downfall of the MSP, they saw the corruption and assigned many agents to find ways to cripple the faction. This brought the MIS even further into the spotlight, so much so that when the war with the Greater force began. The MIS was forced to ally with Predacon scientists in search of ways to defeat the GF.

After this the MIS started to branch out and has formed many headquarters that are unknown to the public at large. The MIS also as a result, has become very interested in all technology that they can get a hold of. Only one non-Maximal has ever joined, and that was Temperance.

Who is in the MIS? Or could it be; who is not in the MIS? The primary task for the MIS is to protect the Maximal Alliance from internal threats. Those in the MIS are generally those that would be least suspected.
