THE SCRIPTURE FORBIDDEN Catholic canon Law #14 (of the thirteenth century in France) "Lay members are not allowed to possess the books of the Old or the New Testaments."
In the Council of Toulouse, the church leaders ruled:
"We prohibit laymen possessing copies of the Old and New Testament ... We forbid them most severely to have the above books in the popular vernacular." "The lords of the districts shall carefully seek out the heretics in dwellings, hovels, and forests, and even their underground retreats shall be entirely wiped out. Concil Tolosanum, Pope Gregory IX, Anno. Chr. 1229.
The church Council of Tarragona ruled that: "No one may possess the books of the Old and New Testaments in the Romance language, and if anyone possesses them he must turn them over to the local bishop within eight days after the promulgation of this decree, so that they may be burned." D. Lortch, Histoire de la Bible en France, 1910,p. 14.
After the Bible societies were formed they were classed with Communism in an amazing decree. On December 8, 1866, Pope Pius IX, in his encyclical Quanta Cura issued the following statement: "Socialism, Communism, clandestine societies, Bible societies . . . pests of this sort must be destroyed by all means."
VATICAN BANS THE USE OF THE NAME OF GOD WHICH IS 'YAHWEH' WITHIN CATOLIC CHURCHES
Francis X. Rocca
08-14-08
VATICAN CITY (RNS) Catholics at worship should neither sing nor pronounce the name of God as "Yahweh," the Vatican has said, citing the authority of both Jewish and Christian practice.
The instruction came in a June 29 2008 letter to Catholic bishops conferences around the world from the Vatican's top liturgical body, the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments, by an explicit "directive" of Pope Benedict XVI.
"In recent years the practice has crept in of pronouncing the God of Israel's proper name," the letter noted, referring to the four-consonant Hebrew "Tetragrammaton," YHWH.
That name is commonly pronounced as "Yahweh," though other versions include "Jaweh" and "Yehovah." But such pronunciation violates long-standing Jewish tradition, the Vatican reminded bishops.
"As an expression of the infinite greatness and majesty of God, (the name) was held to be unpronounceable and hence was replaced during the reading of sacred Scripture by means of the use of an alternate name: `Adonai,' which means `Lord,"' the Congregation said.
That practice continued with Christianity, the letter explained, recalling the "church's tradition, from the beginning, that the sacred Tetragrammaton was never pronounced in the Christian context nor translated into any of the languages into which the Bible was translated."
Invoking a Vatican document from 2001, the Congregation reminded bishops that the name "Yahweh" in Catholic worship should be replaced by the Latin "Dominus" (Lord) or a word "equivalent in meaning" in the local language.
The Vatican's move will require changes in a number of hymns and prayers currently used in American churches, but not to the Mass itself, said the U.S. bishops' top liturgical official.
Catholic News Service quoted an Aug. 8 letter from Bishop Arthur J. Serratelli of Paterson, N.J., chairman of the U.S. bishops' Committee on Divine Worship, informing American prelates of the policy.
The Vatican's instruction, Serratelli wrote, would serve as "an encouragement to show reverence for the name of God in daily life, emphasizing the power of language as an act of devotion and worship."

True Origin of Christian "FISH" Symbol Might Outrage, Shock Jesus Worshippers SOURCE
For many pop-culture Christians, the "fish" decal on the back car bumper, or attached to a key chain or door is a symbol of their religion, and a feel-good statement about Jesus Christ. As the legend goes, early Christians supposedly (a myth with no historical evidence) used the fish as a recognition sign of their religion and some say they did not dare to wear any mark of their faith. If they did so they were persecuted or killed. They supposedly sketched the symbol of a fish as a sign to other Christians of their faith. It is also identified as the "Ichthus", an acronym from the Greek, "Iesous Christos Theou Uios Soter", or "Jesus Christ the Son of God, Saviour". Oxford English Dictionary (C. E.) defines "Ichthyic" as "of, pertaining to, or characteristic of fishes; the fish world in all its orders".
But contemporary Jesus worshippers might be surprised, even outraged to learn that one of their religious symbols antedated the Christian religion, and has its root in pagan/devil worship.
Here you see a stone laver from Assyria which is now in the Pergamum Museum in Berlin. Carved on its sides are depictions of pagan priest that appear to be half sun-fish and half man, that are sprinkling holy water.
Again, here is a similar depiction of a pagan priest wearing a sun-fish, the head with open mouth worn as a mitre and the rest
of the fish forming a cloak. These are both illustrations of Dagon, which was the God of Babylon and Philistia and is mentioned several times in scripture in Judges 16:23, 1 Samuyl 5: 2-7, and 1 Chronicles 1: 10. In Strong's Hebrew Dictionary,
this is the definition of Dagon:
#1712. Dagown, daw-gohn'; from H#1709; the fish-god; Dagon, a Philistine deity: --Dagon.
Note the mitre on the head of this drawing of the goddess Cybele and the striking similarity to the fish head of Dagon. Cybele was worshipped in Rome and was also called the "Magna Mater", or the great queen mother goddess, which evolved into Catholic Mariology. The priesthood of Cybele was composed of casterated males, which parallels the celibate priesthood of Catholicism. The basilica of Saint Peter's, according to some, stands upon the former site of Cybele's main temple in Rome. The ruins of another temple to Cybele/Magna Mater can still be seen at this very time in Rome on Palatine hill.
So, now, here is the fish-head mitre worn by the ranking clergy of the Catholic Church, in this case Pope John Paul II. As can be seen, it is directly derived from the mitres of the ancient pagan fish-god Dagon, and the goddess Cybele. The papal mitre represents the head of Dagon with an open mouth, which is the reason for the pointed shape and split top.
Note the similarity in theme of the symbol on the front of John Paul's mitre, here a sun wheel, and that of Cybele's mitre above, symbolic of the pagan sun god.
Even Unto Death! Dagon mitre placed on John Paul II at death.
"The two-horned mitre, which the Pope wears,
when he sits on the high altar at Rome
and receives the adoration of the Cardinals,
is the very mitre worn by the priests of Dagon,
the fish-god of the Philistines and Babylonians."
- The Two Babylons ; Alexander Hislop; p. 215
Notice in the comparison pictures above
that the ancient Priest of the Fish-God "Dagon"
is wearing a fish robe - with the Fish's
head being placed directly upon the priest's
own head. The opened mouth of the fish looks
exactly as the "mitre" hat of the pope with
the mouth Opened.
Not only does the pope wear this "Mitre" hat,
but so do the Cardinals on certain occasions
when they are dressed in their royal regalia.
The Mystery religion of ancient Babylon / Assyria,
was noted for the priestly class of "Dagon" in
much the same way that the "Mystery" religion of
Rome has copied it.
THE INFLUENCE OF DAGON FISH WORSHIP
UPON THE MITRE HATS --
WORN BY THE CARDINALS
AND THE POPE
"The two-horned mitre, which the Pope wears,
when he sits on the high altar at Rome
and receives the adoration of the Cardinals,
is the very mitre worn by the Priests of Dagon,
the fish-god of the Philistines and Babylonians."
- The Two Babylons ; Alexander Hislop; p. 215
ANOTHER VESTIGE FROM ANCIENT BABYLON
Probably the most recognizable article of clothing the Pope wears
is the tall, gaping hat called the mitre.
Why does he where this?
Where did it come from?
There's nothing in the Bible that indicates that Yahshua
wore such a hat.
Why does the Pope?
The fact is the origin of the hat goes back long before Yahshua
and can be traced to an ancient Babylonian fish-god
named Dagon.
"...there are strong evidences that Dagon was Nimrod....
All scholars agree that the name and worship of Dagon
were imported from Babylonia. "
- The Two Babylons, Hislop, p. 215
"In their veneration and worship of Dagon,
the high priest of paganism would actually put on a garment
that had been created from a huge fish!
The head of the fish formed a mitre
above that of the old man,
while its scaly, fan-like tail fell as a cloak behind,
leaving the human limbs and feet exposed."
- Babylon and Nineveh, Austen Henry Layard, p. 343
"The most prominent form of worship in Babylon
was dedicated to Dagon, later known as Ichthys,
or the fish. In Chaldean times, the head of the
church was the representative of Dagon,
he was considered to be infallible, and was
addressed as ‘Your Holiness’. Nations subdued by
Babylon had to kiss the ring and slipper of the
Babylonian god-king. The same powers and the same
titles are claimed to this day by the Dalai Lama of
Buddhism, and the Pope. Moreover, the vestments of
paganism, the fish mitre and robes of the priests
of Dagon are worn by the Catholic bishops, cardinals
and popes.
-The Wine of Babylon; Pg 9
The excavations done of ancient Nineveh and Babylon
have shed light on the shocking connection between Dagon
the fish-god and the Pope's Mitre (hat).
"We have evidence that at a later period
the Pagan priests dispensed with the body of the fish,
and used the head alone like a cap."
-(Bryant, Vol. v, p. 384)
The gaping jaws of the fish's head,
surmounting the head of the man, is the exact
appearance of the two homed mitre of the pope,
or of a Papal bishop at this day!
"The fish headdress of the pagan priests
later became the miter of the Christian bishops."
-J.C. Cooper,
"An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Traditional Symbols",
Thames & Hudson, London, UK, (1979), Page 15.
"The fish symbol was so revered throughout the pagan
Roman empire that Christian authorities insisted on
taking it over, with extensive revision of myths to deny
its earlier female-genital meanings..."
- B.G. Walker,
"The Woman's Encyclopaedia of Myths and Secrets",
Harper & Row, San Francisco CA (1983), Page 313-314
And this also explains the symbol for Christianity,
the fish - the "Ichthys" which is Dagon.
Definition - "Ichthyic" - "of, pertaining to,
or characteristic of fishes;
the fish world in all its orders."
- Oxford English Dictionary (C. E.)
FISH ON FRIDAYS ?
The worship of Dagon also affected
people's eating habits.
So did the fish goddess "Freya"
for which "Friday" was named after.
Freya's Day - or Freyday (Friday).
This may explain the mystery of why
the Catholics abstain from eating fish
on all days except Fridays.
Whether they realize it or not,
they are practicing the ancient pagan rite
of worshipping Dagon or the worship of the
fish goddess "Freya"..
"The symbol itself, the eating of fish on Friday
and the association of the symbol with a pagan deity
were all taken over by the early Catholic Church from
Pagan sources. Only the sexual component was deleted."
"An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Traditional Symbols",
Thames & Hudson, London, UK, (1979), Page 68.
According to The Catholic Encyclopedia:
"As to the ritual of his worship...
we only know from ancient writers that,
for religious reasons, most of the Syrian peoples
abstained from eating fish, a practice that
one is naturally inclined to connect with
the worship of a fish-god."
- The Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913,
Encyclopedia Press, Inc.
The pope gives homage to the Koran, the "holy book" of a false religion? John Paul II said: “The Catholic Church respects the Islamic spiritual tradition.”
How can a person claim respect for the teachings of a pagan religion.

The Rosary
As a former Catholic who in times past prayed the Rosary and wore the Brown Scapular, it is my sincere prayer that all Catholics will carefully examine this book. In it you will read: (1) The present-day official position of Catholicism on Mary and (2) What the Bible says about this. This book is not an attack on the Mary of the Bible. Please remember this important fact. Instead you are being shown that the Mary of the Bible is not the Mary of Catholicism. They are two totally different people, though each share some common characteristics. This evangelistic tool will provide an excellent way to reach your beloved, sincere Catholic friends with the truth about this salvation issue.
By John W. Schoenheit
Father Yahweh ... Please forgive John Paul II, for he knew not what he was doing. At least I don't believe he did! May he rest in peace until the resurrection of the dead and then You be the Judge. POPE BENEDICT XVI HELD FORTH "TWISTED CROSS CRUCIFIX" DURING HIS INSTALLATION CEREMONY -- ADORING MASSES BOWED TO THIS SATANIC SYMBOL
CHRISTMAS means 'Mass for Christ', Christ's Mass, or Mass of Christ'.
The following was written by Martin Luther. Before leaving the Roman Catholic Church Luther was a Roman Catholic priest.
"The Mass is the greatest blasphemy of God, and the highest idolatry upon the earth, an abomination the like of which has never been in Christendom."
"The Kingdom of Christ is a kingdom of mercy, grace, and goodness. The
kingdom of the Pope is a kingdom of lies and damnation!"
"The Roman Church has become the most licentious den of thieves, the most shameless of all brothels, the kingdom of sin, death, and hell. It is so bad that even Antichrist himself, if he should come, could think of nothing to add to its wickedness."
