AN OPEN LETTER TO THE ELECT REMNANT WITH REFERENCE TO "THE LORD" ----MORE IMPORTANT THAN REALIZED.
ORIGINS OF THE ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION OF THE WORD "L-O-R-D" (what it really means)
"Israelites came from within the larger Canaanite population and were themselves Canaanites - the same race and language, with the same culture - until about the thirteenth century BCE when urban dwellers began settling the Canaanite hillsides.33 It was among these rural people that the religion of Yahweh spread, as opposed to the Canaanite religion of Elohim and Baal." Webmaster Comment: I do not refer to our Heavenly Father and Creator as a mere "God". The word 'god' is a generic title and can refer to any deity. It can also refer to a mere hunk of wood, stone, etc. Even Satan is called the god of this world in the K.J.V. (2 Corinthians 4:4). Also in the K.J.V. it is said that Yahweh made Moshe a 'god' unto Pharaoh (Exodus 7:1). When Yahshua was falsely accused by the Jews that he made himself 'God' (John 10:33 - K.J.V.) his responce included a quote from Psalm 82:6.
Yahshua answered them, Is it not written in YOUR LAW, I said, You are gods? IF he called them gods, unto whom the word of Yahweh came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say you of him, whom the Father has set apart, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the son of Yahweh? (Yahchanan [John] 10:34-36).
Note that he did not say that he was "God" or that he was Father Yahweh, but the Jews accused him falsely in saying he was making himself "God". He corrected them and said he was the son of Yahweh. At that time the Jews also did not give Father Yahweh the esteem that was due unto his Name (cf. Psalm 29:2, 96:8 & I Chronicles 16:29) as they, and in turn do others also continue to do in this time period. Please see my web page 'The Name Yahweh' for more indepth information on the Name Yahweh.
Yes, Father Yahweh is 'Almighty' and Yahshua is a 'a mighty one' (a mighty prophet) like unto Moshe (Deuteronomy 18:15,18,19; Acts 3:22-26; cf. also Exodus 7:1).
For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, [as there be gods many, and lords many,] But to us there is but one Yahweh, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one master Yahshua Messiah, on account of whom are all things, and we on account of him (1 Corinthians 8:5-6).
Do The Math There is one Yahweh and there is one master Yahshua Messiah.
1+1=2, right?
And Yahweh spoke all these words saying:
I am Yahweh your Heavenly Father who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
You shall have no hinder gods at all in front of Me.
You shall not make for yourself any carved image; an idol, in the form of anything in heaven above, or on the earth beneath, or in the waters below.
You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I, Yahweh your Father,am a jealous Heavenly Father, punishing the children for the lawbreaking of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me. But showing love to thousands who love Me, and keep My commandments. (Exodus 20: 1-6)
Note: The word lord actually means 'keeper of the loaf' or 'bread guardian'. This in no way comes even close to what the Name Yahweh means. In the English language lord is a title and not a name. In the Bible wives referred to their husbands as lords. Hmmmm! Could this be where the expression "bread winner" came from? In most cases this is used in reference to husbands. The word lord is also used in reference to deities eg. "Lord Krishna (KRSNA)". [Middle English, from Old English hlford : hlf, bread + weard, guardian; see wer-3 in Indo-European Roots.]

The cup of blessing over which we ask Yahweh's blessing, does it not represent the partaking of the body of Messiah?
For we being many, are one bread and one body; we all partake of that one bread.
Consider Isryl after the flesh: are not those who eat the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
But I say that the things that the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to Yahweh; and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.
You cannot drink the cup of Yahweh and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of Yahweh's table and the table of demons.
Do we provoke Yahweh to jealousy? Are we stronger than He? (I Corinthians 10: 14-22)
"El was the chief god of the Phoenicians and the Ugarits. Yet El is also the name used in many Psalms for Yahweh. In 2 Kings 22:19-22 we read of Yahweh meeting with his heavenly council. The Ugaritic texts have a similar account, with the difference that the "sons of god" are the sons of El. Other deities worshiped at Ugarit were El Shaddai, El Elyon, and El Berith. Since the writers of the Old Testament apply all these names to Yahweh, we can be sure that the Hebrew theologians assimilated the earlier mythology into their system." SOURCE
to See the following "QUOTE" from: MyJewishLeaning.com. "Most scholars, however, think that it was taken from the Canaanite language. The Canaanites were the indigenous people of the land of Israel and they seem frequently to have addressed their individual gods as "my gods." "
Scripture is compiled from four sources. The J source is the oldest and only contains the name Yahweh, while the E source came afterwards and uses the Canaanite Elohim due to the pagan influence on the Israelites. Elohim should NEVER be used as a name or title for Yahweh. (Exodus 23:13)
A Historical Analysis of the Two Contrasting Faiths By: William Albright
The Canaanite God "El"
"This is the same term for the deity which we have already encountered in Ugaric myths and which was common to all Canaanites... The people of Isryl called our Heavenly Father and Creator YAHWEH. The religion of el in Genesis is thus a genuine historical recollection, and was definitely not used by worshipers of... Yahweh. The narratives in Genesis are thus neither pure fiction or pure truth; they are fiction and truth". from: The World of the Bible by : Anton Jirku pg. 65 & 66.
"The generic term : elohim - "The name par excellence for the Heavenly Father of Isryl is Yahweh... Yahweh becomes the distinctive O.T. Name... Hence the name Jehovah an artificial English reconstruction of the Hebrew Y H W H, originally pronounced Yahweh... from: Wycliffe Bible Encyclopedia pg. 689 & 690.
The Isrylites probably borrowed the Cannaaniteplural noun elohim and made it singular in meaning in their cultic practices and theological reflections." from: From Encyclopedia - Britannica Online. Also see monotheism at: Encyclopedia Britannica Online .
Somehow the name (el, elohim) and some of the mystic elements of Canaanite religion were absorbed into the religion of ancient Isryl. The name el is preserved in the modern allah, the word used by Muslims and Christians in Arabic to refer to god.
Quoting Some Scholars On The Name "Jehovah"
It is very well known among scholars of the Hebrew language the attempted English transliteration "Jehovah" to be "monstrous", "a blunder", "a mongrel name", "an hybrid name", "an impossible transliteration", a philological impossibility, and "an erroneous transliteration" to quote a few.
The term 'lord' is not a name, but a title in the English language. "The LORD" also would be an inferior title in reference to our Heavenly Father and Creator or in reference to His son, since the term 'King' stands primary in English nobility. Is it not ironic that the AKJV replaces our Heavenly Father and Creator's Name Yahweh with the mere title 'the LORD' and James has the title of King tagged to his name? The word lord actually means 'keeper of the loaf' or 'bread guardian'. This in no way comes even close to what the Name Yahweh means. In the English language lord is a title and not a name. In the Bible wives referred to their husbands as lords. Hmmmm! Could this be where the expression "bread winner" came from? In many cases this expression is used in reference to husbands. The word lord is also used in reference to deities eg. "Lord Krishna (KRSNA)".

Is Jesus The Name? In Colliers magazine of Sept. 11, 1937, appeared a statement which scholars know to be a fact, but which the average layman does not understand; or, if it is known, it is thought inconsequential. Paul Parnell wrote, as follows: "The founder of Christianity probably never heard Himself called Jesus Christ during His life. He was known by His Hebrew name Joshua. After the crucifixion, He was referred to as Joshua the Messiah, until the time many years later, when His name was changed into Greek, and became Jesus the Christ." SOURCE

Esus' victims, according to later commentators, were sacrificed by being ritually stabbed and hung from trees. A relief relief for the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris portrays him as a bent woodman cutting a branch from a willow tree. This and a related relief from Trier, Ger., associate him with the sacred bull and his accompanying crane and egrets. Encyclopedia Britannica Esus by Obsidian

JESUS - the English and Spanish lettering for the name Jesus
JEZUS - an English Bible Dictionary pronunciation for the name Jesus
heh SOOS - the Spanish pronunciation of the Name Jesus
ZEUS - the name of the supreme god of the Greeks
Here is a quote from Dictionary of Christian Lore and Legend, by J. C. J. Metford:
"It is known that the Greek name endings of sus, seus, and sous (which are phonetic pronunciations for Zeus) were attached by the Greeks to names and geographical areas as a means to give honor to their supreme deity, Zeus. Examples given are: Parnassus, a sacred mountain in Greece: the Greek deity of wine and son of Zeus, Dionysus; the Greek hero of the Trojan war was Odysseus, and the Greek deity of healing was Iesous or the Latin Iesus/Jesus. They also changed the names of the prophets EliYahu (whose name means 'my mighty one is Yah') and Elyesha (whose name means 'my mighty one saves'), to 'Elias' and 'Eliseus' (which means 'my mighty one is Zeus'). This was done so often that it later was the basis for their rules of written grammar which followed the common or vernacular spoken language."
Note the highlighted Elizeus (verse 27) in this A.K.J.V of 1611. This should have been properly transliterated Yliyah. It is evident that the translators SUBSTITUTED and COMBINED the names of the Canaanite god El and the Greek god Zeus for the Name/Title of our Heavenly Father and Creator Yahweh Almighty. CLOSE UP
I believe this same practice of SUBSTITUTION and COMBINATION was also used for the Name of Yahweh's Son, Yahshua. In doing this the translators CHANGED the Name of Yahweh's Son to mean 'Zeus is Salvation' inSTEAD of 'YAHWEH IS REDEEMER' which is what His Son's Hebrew Name, TRULY MEANS (YAH = YAHWEH and shua= REDEEMER ). There is a problem with using "Christ" as a title in reference to Yahshua, namely it was already a religious title in Greece long before Yahshua was born. Initiates of the Eleusinian Mysteries were called "digenes", twice-born, and "christos". The mysteroi of Eleusinia are the original ORIGINAL "Christs". Description:
In this book, the personality of Lord Jesus is revealed. The relationship between Jesus and the Hare Krishna Movement is also explained. You are definitely going to find some new and interesting facts about Jesus and God in this book.
KRSNA, Krishna, Chrishna (various spellings)
Kristina, Christina (feminine Christian name)
Hmmm! Many images used to depict Krishna and Christ are feminine, especially the ones that show them with long hair. Compare the Scripture where it is said that nature shows that long hair is a shame unto man. (I Corinthians 11:14-15)
"The term "Christian" was a label given the followers of the way of life that Christ taught (They were first CALLED this in Antioch BY GENTILES - Acts 11:26)." From: Mainstream Christianity Or Cult?
The Word Is Greek, And Has A Formerly Pagan Usage
Note also that Krishna is part of a TRINITY (TRIMURTI) GODHEAD as the magazine publication "BACK TO GODHEAD" published by the Hare Krishna movement plainly states.
Dictionary of the Bible by James Hastings (1963 Charles Scribners's Sons), pg. 138, states under the caption, "3. The Spread of the Name. - Since "Christian" was not originally a self-designation of the followers of Jesus, it is not surprising that it is rarely found in the New Testament." Hastings Dictionary of the Bible further states that Roman authorities gave the Messiah's followers the name "Christians" but the word itself to the pagans is associated with heinous crimes and vices. In this section "4. The Meaning of the Name.- The Roman authorities, who first designated the disciples of Jesus as Christians, attempted thereby to characterize them as a political group or party, held together by their loyalty to the party head, Christos. While originally the title was given for juridical convenience without implying a derogatory sense, the pagan mob must at a very early time have associated it with heinous crimes and vices ... Not too much emphasis should be placed, therefore upon the etymology of christos. Though literally meaning the "Anointed One," i.e. the Messiah, the title soon lost its original denotation and became a personal name in the Greek-speaking church." The New Encyclopedia Britannica, Volume 4, (copyright 1982), pg. 460 states under the caption Christianity: "The concept of "Christianity" (Christianismos), which denotes what is "essence," does not appear in the New Testament writings. Not until the time of the Apostolic Fathers (i.e., The Christian thinkers of the late 1st and early 2nd centuries) was it used as a Christian parallel to the concept "Judaism" (Ioudaismos), which the Apostle Paul had used in his letter to the Galatians, chapter 1, verse 13 to characterize the Jewish way of faith and Life. The term Christianity was first used in such a manner by Ignatius the Bishop of Antioch (died c. AD 110), in his Letter to the Magnesians." Christian - the name given by the Greeks or Romans, probably in reproach, to the followers of Jesus. It was first used at Antioch. The names by which the disciples were known among themselves were "brethren," "the faithful," "elect," "saints," "believers." But as distinguishing them from the multitude without, the name "Christian" came into use, and was universally accepted. This name occurs but three times in the New Testament (Acts 11:26; 26:28; 1 Pet. 4:16). - Easton's Bible Dictionary 1897
