9/16/06: Allan and the #4 LMS had a great race. Allan started in 14th and finished with a fine 4th place finish. Not sure yet if #4 will be racing at Wiscasset, Beech Ridge or not at all next weekend. #4 is FOR SALE. If interested call Mike or Louanne at 882-5289. 9/2/06: The #4 team finished in 3rd place in the feature event. #4 had a strong run for 2nd when on the final lap, #93 took over 2nd place in the 4 turn. Feature winner was #5 Bill Pinkham with #93 Puncin St.Clair finishing 2nd and #4's new driver Allan Moeller, Sr finishing with a fine 3rd place finish. Allan will finish out the season for the #4 team. We are glad to have him join the team.
So far this racing season #4 has been on display at Poole Brothers Lumber in Damariscotta, Movie Gallery in Wiscasset and Irving Mainway to help beneift Special Olympics. #4 will be on display at Waldoboro Smoke Shop in Waldoboro at a future date this summer. #4 was also the only race car to represent Wiscasset Raceway in January 2006 at the 18th Annual Northeast Motorsport Expo in Augusta. The car has also made an appearance at a past Annual Auburn Mall show with all of Oxford's finest cars.

TEAM HISTORY:
The Mid-Knight Racing team was established in 1997 with driver George James, Jr. of Dresden. We started out with an 87 Mustang in the Lite Weight A Division at Wiscasset Raceway. In 2001 the team moved up to the SuperLimited division which later became the current Late Model division. George's Rookie season in the Superlimiteds was a 10th place finish in points, and a 6th place finish his second season. In 2003, the team raced at Speedway 95 for the full season in the Limited class with an 8th place finish in points and a 5th place finish in the Coca-Cola Series(Triple Crown). #4 then finished out the season at Wiscasset Raceway with a 2nd place finish to none other than Dave St.Clair in the LMS division. George also won the Sportsmanship award.
2004 and 2005 George took off time from racing. Mike Orr, of Wiscasset, took over the wheel of #4. The team had a late start in 2004, but in 2005, Mike raced the entire season and came back with an incredible CHAMPIONSHIP finish with our #4 LMS. We were honored to have him aboard. Mike has decided to drive his own #32 car in the upcoming 2006 season. We wish Mike and his team the best!
In 2006, we welcomed back our previous driver, George James,Jr of Dresden. George and #4 were close to 10th place in points when the team had to change drivers, again, unexpectadly. With sponsors' support in keeping the #4 racing weekly, we had to find another driver for the #4 car to finish out the 2006 season.
Allan Moeller, Sr. of Dresden who has 25+ years of racing experience agreed to give it a whirl with the #4. He has had alot of fun so far with the car. With help from Allan and his crew, the team has made some changes to the car to make it more comfortable and racey for him.
Allan has had previous championship wins in the Superlimited and Modified divisions. He also has had countless top finishes in the Super Street Division, which is the current division that Allan and his son, Allan Jr, share driving his #04 Super Street. Allan is planning on driving his #04 Super Street at Beech Ridge the weekend of 9/23rd.
