THE COMMANDS AND VERBS OF ELANTHIA




UPDATED JUNE 2002

Ah, so you have arrived! Relax traveler and have an ale, while we talk about the Verb Commands that you will need to know in order to Role Play your way from one end of Elanthia to the other.



I wish to acknowledge and thank Lord Xeto, my co-conspirator, for helping me with the new verb commands.



NEW COMMANDS:

WHAT HAPPENS:

ATTEND<CREATURE>

This verb command allows you to attend to any CREATURE you see. What you see: That's not a good idea. You pay close attention to the kobold instead. What they see: Xeto pays close attention to the kobold. 

ATTEND<EYES>

This verb command allows you to attend to your eyes. What you see: You rub your violet eyes in an effort to refresh them. What they see: Breannaa rubs her violet eyes. 

ATTEND<FACE>

This verb command allows you to attend to your face. What you see: You pass a hand over your face to bring some color back into your fair complexion. What they see: Xeto passes a hand over his fair face. 

ATTEND<HAIR>

This verb allows you to attend to your hair. What you see: You run a hand through your very long brown hair, trying to make yourself presentable. What they see: Breanna runs a hand through her very long brown hair, trying to make herself presentable. 

ATTEND<ITEM> <worn or held>

This verb command allows you to attend to any objects you are wearing. What you see: You attend to your gold back sling, making it as presentable as possible. What they see: Breannaa attends to her gold back sling, making it as presentable as possible. 

ATTEND<NAME>

This verb command allows you to attend to yourself or another person. What you see: You set about preparing Xeto to be presentable as possible. What they see: Xeto sets about preparing Breannaa to be presentable as possible. 

DUST<HANDS>

This verb command allows you to dust things off. What you see: You dust your hands off. What they see: Breannaa dusts her hands off. 

DUST<ITEM>

This verb command allows you to dust your items off. What you see: You dust off a laje banded tower shield. What they see: Breannaa dusts off a laje banded tower shield. 

DUST<PERSON>

This verb command allows you to dust yourself or another person off. What you see: You dust yourself off or Xeto dusts you off. What they see: Breannaa dusts herself off or Xeto dusts Breannaa off.  

FOLD

This verb command allows you to fold your arms over your chest. What you see: You fold your arms over your chest. What they see: Breannaa folds her arms over her chest. 

FOLD<ANGRY>

This verb command allows you to fold your arms over your chest in an angry fashion. What you see: You thrust your chest out, angrily folding your arms over it. What they see: Xeto thrusts his chest out, angrily folding his arms over it.. 

FOLD<LAZY>

This verb command allows you to fold your arms over your chest in a lazy way. What you see: You fold your arms over your chest with a lazy yawn. What they see: Xeto folds his arms over his chest with a lazy yawn.. 

FOLD<HAUGHTY>

This verb command allows you to fold your arms over your chest with a haughty manner. What you see: You fold your arms over your chest with an air of superiority. What they see: Xeto folds his arms over his chest with an air of superiority. 

FOLD<YOUR NAME>

This verb command allows you to fold your arms over your chest acting all akimbo. What you see: You place your arms akimbo and look about as if waiting for something. What they see: Xeto places his arms akimbo and looks about as if waiting for something. 

GOBBLE

This verb command allows you to make a gobbling sound. What you see: You make a gobbling sound. What they see: Xeto makes a gobbling sound. 

GROVEL

This verb command allows you to grovel. What you see: You fall to your knees and begin to grovel desperately. What they see: (Your Name) falls to his knees and begins to grovel with a desperate look on his face! Boy do I know a lot of names that would be appropriate for this command.(wink) 

GROVEL<PERSON>

This verb command allows you to grovel towards another person. Since Xeto is too worthy to grovel at my feet, I will use another person who is more appropriate as an example for this one. What you see: You grovel at Breannaa as you beseech her show mercy and kindness towards you!. What they see: Vollendam bows to you and begins groveling! With a quivering voice, Vollendam begs you to show mercy and kindness for his inexcusable actions! *Side note: He also does this with the very esteemed Lady Lmerri, although she, like me; ignores him completely.(snicker) 

GROVEL<YOUR NAME>

This verb command allows you to grovel with yourself. What you see: You find within yourself two conflicting attitudes.. What they see: Xeto appears consumed with inner conflict. 

HOOT

This verb command allows you to make the hoot sound. What you see: You hoot like an owl. What they see: You hear the hoot of an owl come from Greysyte  

PUZZLE

This verb command allows you to appear puzzled. What you see: You act puzzled. What they see: Xeto acts puzzled. 

PUZZLE<PERSON>

This verb command allows you to appear puzzled by another actions. What you see: You puzzle over Breannaa. What they see: Xeto looks at you, puzzled. 

PUZZLE<YOUR NAME>

This verb command allows you to appear puzzled by your actions. What you see: You feel rather puzzled at the moment. What they see: Breannaa appears puzzled. 

SHUN

This verb command allows you to turn away. What you see: You turn away. What they see: Breannaa turns away. 

SHUN<ITEM>

This verb command allows you to show disgust with any item you are holding. What you see: You turn away from a rolton burger in disgust. What they see: Breannaa turns away from a rolton burger in disgust.  

SHUN<OBJECT>

This verb command allows you to show disgust with any object you see. What you see: You turn away from a small sign in disgust. What they see: Breannaa turns away from a small sign in disgust. 

SHUN<PERSON>

This verb command allows you to shun another person. What you see: You stare darkly at Xeto then stick your nose up and turn your head away from him with a snap. What they see: Xeto stares darkly at you then sticks his nose up and turns his head away from you with a snap. 

SHUN<YOUR NAME>

This verb command allows you to ignore your own concerns. What you see: You pointedly ignore your own concerns and move about seeking someone to help. What they see: Xeto looks around seeking someone to help. 

SULK

This verb command allows you to sulk. What you see: You begin to mope around, feeling very sorry for yourself. What they see: Xeto looks downright miserable. 

SQUIRM

This verb command allows you to squirm . What you see: You squirm. What they see: Xeto squirms. 

WOBBLE

This verb command allows you to turn look wobbly. What you see: You feel a bit weak in the knees and find yourself wobbling. What they see: Xeto wobbles, looking a bit faint. 

 

THE COMMAND:

WHAT HAPPENS:

ACCEPT

This verb command allows you to accept an offer from another person. 

ACCEPT <CONFIRM>

This verb command allows you to accept an offer from another person and confirm it. 

ACCUSE <PERSON'S NAME>

This verb allows you to Accuse <Person> of wrongdoing to the Town Constable. 

ACTION

This verb allows you to perform an action of your choice.   Example: If you type, (Action smiles sweetly) and say your name is Breannaa, like mine (grin) it will come out.  (Breannaa smiles sweetly.)

ADVICE

When you enter the lands, this command will give you advice on the Basics of what you need to know to get around. 

AMBUSH <TARGET> <AREA>

This verb is used when you want to attack a specific body part. If you are hiding and ambush, you will hit your target much harder. To execute this command properly, hide first, wait for your target to show up, then type, Ambush <Target"s Name> right leg or pick another area on the target's body to ambush. 

APPRAISE <ITEM>

This verb will give you a price quote of your item from the Furriers, Gemshop, Pawnshop or Sorchia's tent, before you sell it. 

APPRAISE <PERSON'S NAME>

This command will give you a quick check on the person's health..  It also tells Clerics the number of spirit points a <Person> has. 

APPLAUD

You clap your hands. 

ASK

You can ask some of the Non Person Characters (NPC's) about different things. 

ASSIST <CANCEL>

Use this command <Assist> to request a Game Host, or this verb <Cancel> to cancel a pending request. 

ATTACK <TARGET'S NAME>

This verb allows you to attack your <Target>, be it a adventurer, creature or object.  Sometimes, it is hard to tell the difference(Grin). 

BABBLE

Babbling again, eh? They see: <Person> babbles something unintelligible. 

BASH <ITEM>

If you are a Warrior and you have trained in this skill, it allows you to Bash open objects. 

BEAM

You beam!

BEAM <PERSON'S NAME>

You beam at <Person>.  They see: <Person> beams happily at you. 

BLANCH

This verb is the same as PALE.  You feel the blood drain from your face.  They see: <Person's> face turns slightly pale. 

BLINK

You blink. 

BLINK <PERSON'S NAME>

You blink at <Person>. 

BLUSH

You blush a nice shade of off-pink. 

BOUNCE

You bounce around like a child. 

BOUNCE <PERSON'S NAME / OBJECT>

You fling yourself at a <Person> or an <Object> with childish glee. 

BOW

You bow. 

BOW <PERSON'S NAME>

You bow to <person>. 

BUG <MESSAGE>

This verb is used only sparingly and only to report an error in the game. 

BUNDLE <ITEM>

This verb allows you to bundle an <ITEM> such as your monster skins or your herbs. 

BUNDLE REMOVE <ITEM>

This verb allows you to unbundle an <ITEM> one at a time. 

BURY <ITEM>

This verb allows you to bury items in certain places in the lands. 

BUY <ITEM'S NAME>

This verb is only used at the Merchants.  Buy <Item>. 

CACKLE

You cackle.  For more information on this particular verb, see Lord Morandas.  (Grin)

CALENDAR

Use the CALANDAR and TIME commands to view the date, time and some of the major holidays and feastdays celebrated across the continent of Greater Elanith. 

CAST

This verb is used to cast any prepared spell. 

CHANT

This one is used by Clerics to Chant and Commune with a Diety. 

CHARGE

This verb allows you to charge magical items. 

CHECK BALANCE

This verb is used to determine how much money you have in any bank, but must be done at the teller window. 

CHECK IN

Use this command at an Inn's Front Desk, when you want to train or reroll your character. 

CHUCKLE

You chuckle. 

CHUCKLE <PERSON'S NAME>

You chuckle at <Person>. 

CLAP

You clap your hands.  This is the same as Applaud. 

CLENCH FIST

You clench your fist. 

CLENCH FIST <ITEM>

If you have something in your hand at the time, say your Broadsword for instance.  You tighten your grip on your Broadsword. 

CLENCH FIST <ITEM><PERSON'S NAME>

You tighten your grip on your broadsword and glance over at <Person>. 

CLENCH FIST <PERSON'S NAME>

You clench your fist and glance over at <Person>. 

CLENCH JAW

You clench your jaw. 

CLENCH TATTOO <AREA>

You flex your muscles, showing off your <Tattoo Name>in that <AREA>. 

CLENCH TEETH

You grit your teeth. 

CLIMB <OBJECT>

This verb is used in certain areas, such as: cliffs, ropes, trees, walls, wells, to... and you guessed it.. to climb any <Object>!

CLOSE <ITEM>

This verb is used to close any <Item>, be it boxes, doors or your personal pocketed items. 

COMMON

This command is used to start speaking in the Common dialect of the land, so that you may be understood by all.  Same as HUMAN. 

COUGH

You cough. 

COVER <EARS>

You cover your ears. 

COVER <EYES>

You cover your eyes with your hands, peeking through your fingers.  They see: <Person> covers her eyes with her hands. 

COVER MY<HEAD>

You duck slightly and cover your head with your arms. 

COVER MY<HEART>

You cover your heart. 

COVER MY <MOUTH>

You clasp a hand over your mouth. 

COVER MY <NOSE>

You cover your nose tightly.  Phew! They see: < Person> covers their nose tightly. 

COVER <ITEM>

You place your hand on your <Item> They see: < Person> places their hand over <Item>.  You must be wearing or holding that item for this verb to work. 

COVER <PERSON'S NAME>

You move to stand in front of <Person>. 

COVER <YOUR NAME>

If you are holding a object, you will duck behind it. If your hands are free, you will bury your face in your hands. 

COWER

You cower. 

COWER <ITEM / PERSON'S NAME>

You cower away from <Item / Person>. 

CRAWL

You guessed it, you crawl.

CRINGE

You cringe.

CRINGE <ITEM / PERSON'S NAME>

You cringe from <Item / Person>

CRY

You burst into tears.

CUDDLE <PERSON'S NAME>

You slide over to <Person> and cuddle <Person> in your arms. You must be joined to the person for this verb to work, also you will need to be sitting or lying down.

CURE <AREA>

This verb allows Empaths to target a certain area of their body to heal. The Empath must have knowledge of that spell to use this verb command.

CURTSY

You curtsy.

CURTSY <PERSON'S NAME>

You curtsy to <Person>.

DANCE

You dance around the room to music only you can hear. This is one of the verbs that varies depending on where you are. You can dance with someone if you are in the Wedding Tent or in a Private House's Ballroom. There are also table dances at the Inns, or you can perform a water ballet in certain bodies of water. On the dance-floor, try using these verbs for special effects: HUG, NUDGE, POKE, PULL, PUSH, SPIN.

DARK ELF

This command allows you to start speaking in the Dark Elven language, you must be a Dark Elf to use this command.

DECLINE

This verb allows you to decline an offer that was made to you.

DEPART

Only use this verb command when you are DEAD and have absolutely NO OTHER CHOICE!

DEPOSIT <AMOUNT / NOTE>

This verb is used to deposit your silvers or notes at the bank.

DESCRIBE <MONSTER'S NAME>

This command will give you a detailed description of the monster.

DIAGNOSE <PERSON'S NAME>

This command will let you diagnose THAT <Person> to see if they are injured or not.

DIAGNOSE <PERSON'S NAME><FULL>

This command will give you all of the <Persons> injuries as well as the severity of their wounds. You must have both hands free and it incurs a 5 second round time (RT).

DIG

This verb is not used a lot, but it enables you to dig for items in some locations.

DIR

When you are new, use this command to get a list of all the places that you can visit in the town.

DIR <LOCATION>

When you are new, use this command to get directions to take you around the town. This verb will not work after level 3.

DISARM <ITEM>

This verb is used to disarm traps from an armed <Item>.

DISBAND

This verb lets you Disband your Group and close it, but only if you are the leader of that group.

DOWN

This verb lets you move down one area.

DRAG <OBJECT / PERSON'S NAME> <DIRECTION>

This verb allows you to drag a person or an object from one room to another, if you have one hand free. A person (dead or alive) must have their GROUP OPEN to be dragged. Direction can either be a compass direction(north, south, east or west, etc.) or an opening (e.g. corridor, door, gate, portal, steps. etc).

DRINK <ITEM>

This verb allows you to drink the beverage you are holding in your hand. In some areas you can drink from pools of water. Remember to use the word 'MY' with this verb.

DROOL

You drool.

DROP <ITEM>

You drop the item you are holding.

DUCK

You duck your head.

DWARVEN

This command allows you to start speaking in the Dwarven language, you must be a Dwarf to use this command.

EAST

You move East one area.

EAT <PERSON'S NAME/ITEM>

If it is a person you bite them.  If it is food you take a bite of it, if it's not edible, you try to bite the object.

ELVEN

This command allows you to start speaking the Elven language. Any person of Elven descent can speak and understand Elven, such as Dark Elf, Half-Elf, Sylvankind.

EXAMINE <PERSON'S NAME/OBJECT>

This verb allows you to examine another person or object in more detail.

EXCHANGE <OBJECT> WITH <PERSON'S NAME>FOR <AMOUNT>

Always use this when you want to buy or sell something to or from another person.

EXIT

Use this verb when you want to leave the lands.

EXPERIENCE

This command will tell you how much experience, fame, mana or how many deeds you have at the time you use it.

FALL

You fall over. Clumsy oaf.

FAME <PERSON'S NAME>

See your personal and family fame or <Person's> fame.

FAME <PROFESSION/RACE/ALL> <PAGE #>

This command allows you to view a list of most famous adventurers in the lands.

FIDGET

You fidget.

FIND <PERSON'S NAME>

This command allows you to see if THAT person is in the lands.

FLAG <!><FLAG NAME>

This command is used to check the flags you have set, or to set flags that you have not.

FLAIL

You flail your arms about. If you are lying down, You thrash around on the ground.

FLINCH

You flinch.

FLUSTER

You blush and babble a few incoherent words, looking foolish but sincere. They see: <Person> blushes and babbles a few incoherent words, looking sincerely flustered.

FLUSTER <PERSON'S NAME>

You glance bashfully at <Name> blush, and mumble a few words. They see: <Name> glances at you bashfully, blushes, and mumbles a few words plainly embarassed.

FORAGE <HERB>

This verb allows you to find herbs in certain areas.

FROWN <PERSON'S NAME>

You frown or You frown at <Person>

FURROW BROW

You furrow your brow.

GAWK

Your jaw drops.

GAWK <PERSON'S NAME>

You gawk at <Person>

GAWK <YOUR NAME>

You cross your eyes.

GAZE

You gaze in wonder at your surroundings.

GAZE <DOWN>

You check your footing.

GAZE <ITEM IN CONTAINER>

You survey the area.

GAZE <ITEM IN FULL VIEW>

You gaze in awe at <Item>

GAZE MY FEET

You hang your head.

GAZE MY HAND

You examine your fingernails.

GAZE <PERSON'S NAME>

If you are the opposite sex, You gaze fondly at <Person>. If you are the same sex: You gaze in awe at the <Person>.

GAZE <UP>

You gaze heavenward.

GAZE <YOUR NAME>

You wrinkle your nose. 

GEM

This command will give you general information on Real Gems that can be found in the game. 

GET <ITEM>

This verb allows you to pick up the <Item>. 

GIANT

This command allows you to speak in the Giant tongue, but only if you are a Giant. 

GIBBER

You gibber incoherently. 

GIGGLE

You giggle. 

GIVE <PERSON'S NAME>

You offer whatever is in your right hand to THAT person. 

GLANCE

Allows you to check what is in your hands. 

GLANCE <PERSON'S NAME>

You glance at <Person>

GLANCE AT <ITEM>

You glance at <Item>

GLANCE AT <ITEM> IN <CONTANER>

You glance at <Item> in your <Container>. Depending on the type of container, it can change the response. 

GLARE

You glare. 

GLARE <PERSON'S NAME>

You glare at <Person>

GO (PLACE)

This verb allows you to enter places, such as, an arch, door, portal, shop, store, tent, etc. 

GRIMACE

You grimace. 

GRIN

You grin. 

GROAN <PERSON'S NAME>

You groan or you groan at <Person>

GROUP

Tells you who is in your group and who is leading. 

GROUP CLOSE

This command closes your group and prevents anyone from joining your group or dragging you against your wishes. 

GROUP OPEN

This command allows a person to join your group or drag you around. 

GROWL

You growl. 

GRUMBLE

You grumble. 

GUILD

This command allows you to speak in "guild speak."   Only those of the same class as you are, will be able to understand what you saying. 

GULP

You gulp. 

HALF ELF

This command allows you to speak Half-Elf.   You must be Half-Elf to use this command. 

HALFLING

This command allows you to speak Halfling.   You must be a Halfling to use this command. 

HEALTH

This command gives you details of your current health, wounds, scars and how severe they are. 

HELP

This command will list topics that give you additional information on the game. 

HELP DFREDUX

This command will give you additional information on DFREDUX.  I still do not know exactly how it works. (Grin).

HICCUP

You hiccup.

HIDE

This verb will hide you from others sight, sometimes this fails if you are wounded.

HOLD <PERSON'S NAME>

You clasp Persons hand tenderly and also this joins them to your group. 

HOLD <YOUR NAME>

You wring your hands. 

HOME

If you own a home, this command will give you information on your home and it's usage. 

HOWL

You throw your head back and howl. 

HUG <PERSON'S NAME/ITEM>

You hug Person <Item>

HUG <YOUR NAME>

You hug yourself. Pleased with yourself, eh?

HUMAN

This command allows you to speak Human, which is the same language as Common and anyone can speak it. 

IMBED

This verb is used to imbed magical items, but only if you have the Imbed Spell. 

INFORMATION

This command will give you information on your character such as: Age, How many coins you are holding, Experience, Gender, Your level, How much mana you have, Name, Profession, as well as your STATS. 

INVENTORY

This command will tell you what your are holding in your hands and what you are wearing. 

INVITE

This verb allows you to invite others to your table or another private area you are in. 

INVOKE <SPELL #>

This verb is used to cast a spell from a scroll you are holding but only if you have enough experience to read the scroll, even then it does not always work. 

JOIN <LIST>

This verb command allows you to join a Merchant List. 

JOIN <PERSON'S NAME>

This verb command allows you to join THAT <Person> group. 

JUMP

You jump up and down on like a 12-year-old.  This verb also allows you to jump off of things like a cliff and out of places like trees, so do be careful where you use this command.

KICK <PERSON'S NAME - OBJECT>

Kick Person or Object.  If you are lying down you will throw a glorious temper tantrum.

KILL

This command verb is the same as ATTACK and is used to fight Creatures and Persons. 

KISS <PERSON'S NAME/OBJECT>

This verb allows you to kiss THAT <Person> on the lips or kiss an <Object>.  If you are joined to THAT <Person> you can also kiss them on the cheek, ear, elbow, hand, head, lips, neck, nose, or wrist. 

KNEEL

You kneel.

KNOCK <ITEM>

This verb allows you to knock on <Item>

LATCH

This verb allows you to latch doors that have latches, so you can lock them.

LAUGH, LAUGH <PERSON'S NAME>

You laugh out loud or You laugh at <Person>

LEAN

You shift your weight.

LEAN <BACK>

You lean back.  If you are at a table at an Inn, and are sitting down and lean back too many times, you will fall over.

LEAN <FORWARD>

You lean forward.

LEAN <OBJECT>

You lean on <Object>

LEAN <PERSON'S NAME>

You lean on <Person>

LEAN <RIGHT/LEFT>

You lean either <Right/Left>

LEAP

You leap, that was fun.  If you are sitting at a table at an Inn and you leap up, the chair will fly furiously backwards.

LEAVE

You leave your group.  Closes your group also.

LICK

You stick out your tounge.

LICK <OBJECT>

You lick <Object>

LICK <PERSON'S NAME>

If both of you are lying down you will Kiss the <Person> Deeply.   If not, they punch and back away from you, for making a rude gesture.  If the person you lick is dead, then it works like object, and you get a message that says, 'Ooh that was gross.'

LIE

You lie down.

LIGHT <OBJECT> WITH <OBJECT>

Some items can be lit, such as candles, cigars and kindling wood for fireplaces.

LOCK

This verb command is the same as LATCH, but can we used with other items as well.

LOOK

This verb will describe the room are in and also tell you what Monster, Person or Object is there with you.

LOOK <ITEM>

This verb will allow you to see the description of an item.

LOOK <PERSON'S NAME>

This verb will allow you to see the description of THAT <Person> you wish to look at.

LORESING <MESSAGE>

This verb command allows a Bard to sing to an item for the purpose of gathering certain information from that item. You must use a semi colon between all lines for this to work.

MANA

This verb will tell you how much mana you have left and the maximum amount of mana you have.

MEASURE <OBJECT>

This verb tells you how many doses are left in the Container you are holding, such as a Flask.

MEDITATE

This verb command is only for Clerics, who use it to rest and absorb their experience faster.

MOAN

You moan.

MOUNT

This verb allows you to mount a Horse, except that their are no horses to be found in the lands now.

MUMBLE

You mumble something under your breath.

MUTTER [ABOUT <TOPIC>]

You mutter something inaudible, or you mutter something about <Topic>

NEWS <#>

This verb command allows you to read the Current News in the lands.

NEWS IGNORE

This verb allows you to ignores all News and Notices.

NEWS NEXT

This verb allows you to read the Next News article.

NOD <PERSON'S NAME>

You nod, or you Nod at <Person>

NORTH

This verb allows you to move North one area.

NORTHEAST

This verb allows you to move Northeast one area.

NORTHWEST

This verb allows you to move Northwest one area.

NUDGE <OBJECT>

You Edge a little Closer to <Object>

NUDGE <PERSON'S NAME>

You give <Person> a playful Nudge.

ONDUTY

This verb command will allow you to see a list of the Game Hosts and Game Masters who are available in the lands at the time.

OPEN <OBJECT>

You open THAT Object.

ORDER

This verb command allows you to place an order from a Merchant's catalog. You may only order 5 items per visit.

OUT

This verb command let's you move Out of a Place you were just in, such as an Inn.

PACE

You pace back and forth.

PACE <PERSON'S NAME/TOPIC>

You pace back and fourth muttering about <Person/Topic>

PALE

The blood rushes from your face. This verb command is the same as BLANCH.

PANT

You pant.

PAY <AMOUNT>

This verb is used to Pay your Debt. You must go to the Town Hall Offices to use this verb though.

PEER <DIRECTION>

This verb lets you Peer into the next room, but only in some places in the lands such as, from the Well to Town Square Central or visa versa.

PEER <PERSON'S NAME>

You peer quizzically at <Person>

PET <CREATURE'S NAME>

This verb let's you Pet a Kitten, or Dog.

PET <PERSON'S NAME>

You pat <Person> on the head.

PICK <ITEM> with < MY LOCKPICK>

POUR <ITEM> INTO MY OTHER <ITEM>

You pour <Item> such as a flask, into your other flask.

POUR <ITEM> <PERSON'S NAME>

You pour <Item> on <Person> If a <Person> has enough training in Combat Manuevers <CM> they will dodge out of your way on this command.

POUR <ITEM> IN <PERSON>

You force open <Person> mouth and pour a drop of liquid into their mouth..  This only works from a flask of Lifekeep(LK) on a <Person> that is Dead.

POUT

You pout.

PRAY

You kneel down and begin your prayers.

PRAY <again>

You continue to beseech your gods for mercy.

PREPARE <SPELL>

This verb allows you to prepare a spell for casting, but only if that spell is known to you.

PROCRASTINATE

You look thoughtful for a moment, then shrug. You also realize that there are some important matters that you should attend to...later. 

PROFESSION

This command will allow you to veiw and set your Professional Title. 

PROFESSION LIST

This command allows you to view a list of all the Professions. 

PROFESSION SET<Title>

This command allows you to set the title of your of your Profession. 

PULL <ITEM>

This verb allows you to pull items:  doors, levers, switches, etc. 

PULL <PERSON'S NAME>

You try to pull <Person> towards you.  If you are standing and the <Person> is sitting, kneeling, or lying down, you can pull them up if they are not too heavy for you.  If they are too heavy, just keep on trying, it might work eventually, if it does not get too annoying to the other Adventurer's first. (grin)

PUNCH <OBJECT>

You look like you were about ready to punch <Object>. 

PUNCH <TARGET>

This verb allows you to attack your <Target> with a Punch. 

PUNISH <PERSON'S NAME>

You beat <Person> severely. 

PUSH <OBJECT>

This verb command allows you to Push an Object. 

PUSH <PERSON'S NAME>. 

You push <Person> away from you. 

PUT MY <ITEM> in <OBJECT>. 

This verb command allows you to Put your <Object> inside your other things, such as your backpack or another one of your containers. 

QUEST

This verb command will give you general information on Game Quests that are happening in the lands. 

QUIT

This verb command is the same as EXIT, it allows you to leave the lands and end your game period. 

RAISE <EYE>

You raise your eyebrows. 

RAISE <EYE> AT <PERSON'S NAME>

You raise your eyebrows at <Person>

RAISE <FIST>

You raise your fist defiantly. 

RAISE <HAND>

You raise your hand. 

RAISE <ITEM>

You raise your <Item> in the air for all to see. 

RAISE <WEAPON>

You raise your <Weapon> in triumph. 

READ <OBJECT>

This verb allows you to read, paper, parchments, scrolls, signs, and other related material, etc. 

RECITE <MESSAGE>

This verb command allows you to Recite verses. 

REFERRAL

This verb command allows you to check your position in line if you have been given a GM Referral that is pending. 

REGISTER <ITEM>

This verb command allows you to register your Items in any Town Hall's Registrar Office.  This is important in case you lose your items, they can be replaced if they are registered. 

REMOVE <ITEM>

This verb command allows you to remove any item that you are wearing. 

REPORT

This verb command allows you to report a serious problem in the lands, something that needs immediate attention  This message is relayed to all Game Master's and Host's online at that time, and is logged as well.  So don't over use it and abuse it. 

ROLL

You roll around on the ground. (If you are lying down, if you are standing) You roll your eyes. 

ROLL <PERSON'S NAME>

You roll <Person> over.  (If the person is lying down.)

ROLL <PERSON>

You roll your eyes at <Person> (If the person is standing.)

ROLL LAUGH

You fall to the ground laughing hysterically. 

RUB MY <ITEM>

This verb command allows you to rub your items either as an action, or to cast an imbedded spell from your item. 

RUB <PERSON'S NAME>

You rub <Person>

SALUTE

You render a sharp hand salute. 

SALUTE <ITEM>

You render a sharp salute with your <Item> (You must be holding the item in your right hand to use this verb.)

SALUTE <PERSON'S NAME>

You render a sharp hand salute at <Person>

You render a sharp salute at <Person> with your <Item> (Again, you must be holding the item in your right hand to use this verb properly.)

SAY <MESSAGE>

This command allows you to speak out loud.  You can also use quotation marks in front of your words to speak in out loud. 

SCOWL

You scowl.

SCRATCH

You scratch yourself idly. You also scratch yourself where it itches.  That feels better.

You scratch your <Item>.

This verb command allows you to sell a your item to a merchant or shopkeeper.

This verb command allows you to send the number of mana you want to THAT <Person>. 

SENSE

This verb command allows a enchanting Wizard to determine the mana level of a pool.  You must have a premium account to use this command and you must be a Wizard. 

SET

This verb command allows you to see your current settings in the lands. 

SET <!> <ITEM>

This verb command allows you to change your settings in the lands. 

SHAKE HANDS WITH <PERSON'S NAME>

You shake hands with <Person>. 

SHARE <AMOUNT>

This verb command allows you to evenly distribute <Ammount> of coins between your entire party. 

SHIFT

This verb command allows you to see the conversion menu for things that were changed from the ICE AGE system to the Current system. 

SHIFT <ITEM>

This verb command shows you the list under the above menu. 

SHIVER

You shiver. 

SHOW <ITEM> TO <PERSON'S NAME>

This verb command allows you to show one of your items descriptions or contents to another person without letting them hold it. 

SHRIEK

You shriek at the top of your lungs.

You shriek at <Person/Item> at the top of your lungs.

SHUDDER

SIGN

This command is used by the members of the Council of Light (COL) to invoke their powers. 

SIGNAL <MESSAGE>

This command is used by the members of the Council of Light (COL) to speak privately with their fellow members that are in the same room with them. 

SING <MESSAGE>

This verb command allows you to sing a song for everyone's enjoyment or non enjoyment. (Grin)

SING <SPELL #>

This verb command allows only Bards to sing Spell Songs, that can not be cast. 

SIT

This verb allows you to sit down anywhere.  You sit. 

SKILL

This command will show your current skill training. 

SKIN <MONSTER>

This verb command allows you to skin the pelt, hide, etc.  from your dead monster. 

SLAP <PERSON'S NAME>

You slap <Person> alongside the head. 

SLAP <YOUR NAME>

You slap yourself in the head.  Doh!

SMELL <PERSON'S NAME/ITEM>

This verb command allows you to smell <Person/Item>. 

SMILE

You smile. 

SMILE <MESSAGE>

This verb command allows you to add a very long action message to your smile, it will appear exactly as you type it.  Something like this.  Breannaa smiles and says, 'Have a nice day'.

You smile at <Person/Item>. 

SMIRK

You smirk. 

SMOOCH <PERSON'S NAME>

You give <Person> a smooch.

This verb command allows you to splash water in some lakes and pools.

SPUTTER

You sputter. 

SQUINT

You squint your eyes.

This command will display your current stance, whether it be offensive, defensive or anywhere in between.

You stand if you are sitting or lying down. 

STARE

You stare off into space.

You stare at <Person - Item>. 

STATUS

This command will show you how many people and staff are in the lands. 

STATUS FULL

This command will list everyone by name who is in the lands. 

STEAL <PERSON'S NAME>

This verb command allows you to steal from other players and NPC's.   It is not recommended though, if you want to stay in good physical condition. 

STOP <ACTION>

This verb command allows you Stop any action.  Typing STOP will end all the actions that can be stopped, like when you are playing a musical instrument. 

STRETCH

You stretch. 

SWAP

This verb command allows you to switch the objects you are holding from one hand to the other. 

SWIM <DIRECTION>

This verb command allows you to swim in a certain direction. 

SWOON

You faint.  A little dramatic, aren't we?

SYLVAN

This command allows you to start speaking the Sylvankind language.  You must be a Sylvankind Elf to use this command. 

SYMBOL OF <SYMBOL>

This command allows members of Voln to invoke their powers   There are many variations of this, some can be used with at <Object>. 

TAP

You tap your foot impatiently. 

TAP <OBJECT>

You tap <object>. 

TAP <PERSON'S NAME>

You lightly tap <Person> on the shoulder. 

TAP <YOUR NAME>

You tap yourself on the chest. 

TELL FAMILIAR TO <ACTION>

This command is used to command familiars. Type the word 'TELL' in the lands for more examples of this verb.

TEND <AREA>

This verb command is used to tend to a bleeding area on your body.

TEND <PERSON'S NAME> <AREA>

This verb command is used to tend a bleeding area on another <Person>

THINK

You rub your chin thoughtfully. This verb command is also used to send and receive thoughts on the amunet   You must rub your crystal amulet for this verb command to work.

THINK TO <PERSON>

This verb is used to send a private message to a person on the amunets   To use this verb, you must first rub your crystal amulet.

THROW <PERSON'S NAME/MONSTER>

This verb command is used by Brawlers and Members of Voln in open handed combat   To use this verb, you have to train in Brawling.

THUMP <PERSON'S NAME>

You thump <Person>  (If you are a Lord or a Lady and you thump a person that is level 5 or less, you will stun them.)

THUMP <YOUR NAME>

You rub your eyes.

TICKLE <PERSON'S NAME>

You tickle <PERSON>.

TILT

You cock your head.

TILT <ITEM>

You tilt your item side to side, making the light play off it  You must be holding an Item in your hand for this verb to work.

TILT MY HAND

You hold your hand up and tilt it side to side in a so-so gesture.

TILT MY HEAD

You tilt your head back.

TIME

Use the TIME and CALANDAR commands to view the date, time and some of the major holidays and feastdays celebrated across the continent of Greater Elanith. 

TOSS <ITEM>

This verb is normally used in conjunction with a coin   (You toss your coin into the air and it comes down heads or tails.)

TOUCH <ITEM>

You touch <Item>.

TOUCH <PERSON'S NAME>

You touch <Person>.

TOUR

This command will get you information on the Tour Schedules, times they are leaving, how to join or leave a tour. Tours are designed to help the new characters get aquainted with their new enviroment. 

TRANSFER <PERSON'S NAME>

This verb is only used by Empaths to transfer wounds and health points(HP'S) from another person. 

TRANSFER <PERSON'S NAME> <AREA>

This verb is used by Empaths to transfer wounds from specified areas of the person's body. 

TRANSFER <PERSON'S NAME> ANY

This verb is used by Empaths to transfer wounds and health points (HP's) from the <PERSON>.  The word "ANY' prevents an Empath from taking more health points than they have, thus preventing their own death!

TURN <ITEM>

With some items, such as a lockpick, you twirl your lockpick. 

TWITCH

You feel that nervous twitch begin to start up again.  They see: <Person> begins to twitch. 

TWITCH <PERSON'S NAME>

As you glance at <Person> you begin to twitch with agitation.  They see: As <Person> glances at you, you see a faint twitch near their eye. 

TYPO <MESSAGE>

This verb allows you to report typo-graphical errors in room. 

UNHIDE

You stumble out of hiding. 

UNLATCH

This verb allows you to unlatch a door that is locked with a latch. 

UNLOCK

This verb allows you to unlock some items with a key, such as a door. 

UNWRAP <ITEM>

This verb allows you to unwrap an <ITEM> such as a bundle of pelts. 

UNWRAP <AREA>

This verb allows you to unwrap a tended area on your body. 

UNWRAP <PERSON'S NAME> <AREA>

This verb allows you to unwrap a tended area on another person's body. 

UP

You move Up one area. 

WAGGLE <ITEM>

You waggle your fingers mystically at <Item>. Nothing happens. 

WAGGLE <PERSON'S NAME>

You waggle your fingers mystically at <Person>.  Ooh! Scary!

WAGGLE <YOUR NAME>

You waggle your fingers.  Ooh... impressive. 

WAIT

Time drags by slowly.  They see: You look like you are waiting for something. 

WAVE

You wave. 

WAVE <PERSON'S NAME / OBJECT>

You wave at <Person / Object>. 

WAVE <YOUR NAME>

You fan yourself. 

WEALTH

This command gives you information on how much coin you have on you, includes notes or silvers. (I never use this command, as it allerts others who might want to steal from you of your wealth, instead I use the command (Info) or Infomation. 

WEAR <ITEM>

This verb allows you to wear an <Item> on your body.   Includes armor, containers, clothes, jewelery, pins, etc. 

WEIGH

This verb gives you your weight, it is not always accurate and the numbers do flucuate with each use. 

WEIGH <ITEM>

This verb will give you an estimate of an <Item's> weight. 

WEIGH <PERSON'S NAME>

You look admiringly at <Person>. 

WEST

You move West one area. 

WHIMPER

You whimper. 

WHINE

You whine.

WHISPER <PERSON'S NAME / GROUP>

This verb allows you to whisper to a person or entire group privately.  Remember not to use quotations with this verb or the whisper will be heard out loud. 

WHISTLE

You whistle.  Bards whistle a complicated dity, impressing you with their virtuosity. A Bard will see: You whistle a complicated ditty, remembering your apprenticeship fondly. 

WISH <MESSAGE>

This verb allows you to make a secret wish.  You concentrate very hard on your wish, but have to wonder if it was heard.  They will see: You look very far away for a moment, with a wistful expression on your face. 

WHO

This verb shows how many people and staff are in the lands. 

WHO FULL

This verb will give you the entire list by name. 

WINK

You wink. 

WINK <PERSON'S NAME>

You wink at <Person>. 

WITHDRAW <AMOUNT> <SILVER / NOTE>

This verb allows you to withdraw your money from the bank with the method you wish to use. 

YAWN

You yawn. 

YELL <MESSAGE>

This verb allows you to yell <Message> out loud and be heard in the room you are in and all adjoining rooms as well.
