Dear :

Please add my voice to those who oppose your promotion of companion animal breeding.

[Use this paragraph to explain where you saw the promotion of companion animal breeding.]

According to The Fund For Animals, one of the largest organizations working for the cause of animals throughout the world, up to 10 million healthy companion animals are killed in US pounds and shelters every year. No single segment of the public can be blamed for dog and cat overpopulation; overall responsibility is shared by every person who chooses to breed these animals, despite the fact that there are not enough homes. At the rate companion animals are being bred, whether on purpose or by accident, there will never be enough homes for them all.

[Name of promoter] has done a disservice to not only all of the companion animals languishing in shelter cages and on the street, but also to the volunteers who are constantly struggling to rescue them. Considering the huge overpopulation problem, it is irresponsible to promote the practice of breeding companion animals.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
