At the age of 18, I committed my life to serve God in missions. In July 1993 I did a DTS (Discipleship Training School) in YWAM. After that I served in a DTS as a staff for 2 schools in Chennai.
In January 1995 I moved to north India to be involved in church planting work with YWAM. The Lord has led me to pioneer a new YWAM work in Mandi and also Ambala. I got married on January 8, 2000. God has provided a good wife for me.
Maling Rose's testimony
I was born in a nominal Christian family in Malaysia. I followed my family to church but it did not mean anything to me. I was 16 years old when I accepted Christ as my personal
Saviour in an evangelistic crusade. In 1994 in Penang, Malaysia I did my DTS. God became so real in my life. My father died when I was studying and I had so much bitterness toward God, thinking He had taken my dad away. But through DTS God brought so much healing to my heart. I gave my life to serve God in missions. I served in DTS as staff for 2 years in YWAM Malaysia. After that I went to north India to do ministry there. I was in a city called Varanasi for 2½ years serving in the intercession and worship team. Now I'm married to Anil Kumar. We together have a heart for the lepers in Chennai, south India.
Our Ministry
The Lord dave us a burden to do ministry amongst the lepers of Chennai. We did DTS programs, medical care and job training for them. We now are in Coimbatore doing leprosy work with a different ministry.
