This spell causes the unstable magic fluctuations around a single creature to switch their present location with that of the caster; this is very similar to the blink spell. Thus the caster could avoid a volley of arrows by switching places with an archer, avoid a sword blow by switching places with the general, etc.
All creatures in the area of effect must save vs. spell, if any of the creatures fail their save that caster can switch his position with any 1 of the beings he chooses. This isn't always the person that the caster wishes to switch with however, and there is a base 100% chance that the spell effects someone other than that intended by the caster. This chance of failure is lowered by 5% per level of the caster (including level variation).
Furthermore, this spell can complete one such switch for every 3 levels the caster currently has (including his level variation).
Yazston commonly uses this spell to switch himself with his brother, thus surprising and keeping his enemies off guard. In this case Rizzen willingly fails his save, if he wishes to play this little confusing game on his opponents.
