This spell is a modified version of blackhand, made to recreate a functioning arm for the Cavalier, Drexor of Cormyr! It creates a magical arm and hand of force to replace the target's own lost arm. The arm appears to be totally normal, except from the glimmers of metallic skin that can be seen occasionally. Furthermore, the veins that run through this magical arm are made of steel. This is quit a sight to normal beings, therefore any who witness the blackarm must save vs. spell or suffer from minor fear, suffering -1 on all rolls for the next 5 rounds.
A blackarm functions as a normal arm, except that the Strength of the limb is considered to be doubled (double the number of points gained to raise a cavalier's Strength or two Strength checks for any action requiring one as in the blackhand spell). The hand itself is not considered to be part of the caster, so spells or other actions that target the hand do not affect the caster, unless it is area of effect magic. In addition, the blackarm is immune to all 1st levels spells, psionics, and other effects that effect metal, as it only appears to be metallic, it is truly only made of magical force.
The material component for this spell is a small metal replica of the spell recipient's arm that was lost. This can be worn on a neck-chain or such, as it is not consumed in the spells casting.
