To rise above our unthinking brethren,
Mathematics, Art, Warfare,
We now classify others,
Are we good:
From world view:
Our world falls apart,
The uncontemplative beasts,
To become those who’ve written law.
All these we’ve created,
And for good or ill they set us apart.
Write of them in books,
Write of destructions we’ve wrought.
For we destroy our environment,
And extinguish the lives of other species.
We are the best and worst of it’s children,
And now it is up to Mother to eat the cancer.
Even as we fall upon each other,
We are just smart dinosaurs, perishing.
