The first of the wizard Vendralen's spell variants, this spell merges burning hands with magic missile. This spell allows a spellcaster to generate a butterfly-winged spike of fiery energy that flies unerringly at a target. When it hits the target (or a heat conductor touching an opponent's body), the fire-fly releases a wave of fire. This causes 1d3 points of damage, plus 2 points per level of the caster (1d3+20 maximum).
