This spell creates phantasmal, ethereal tentacles very similar to those of a mind flayer, except that these appendages only affect the brain matter of other creatures. With these tentacles the caster may attack and rip at the mind of the target. Each attack causes a saving throw vs. spell or the being suffers the effects of a feeblemind spell (although this feeblemind can only be fixed with a regenerate spell or similar regenerative methods, as the brain is not magically rendered partially inert, but is physically damaged).
Regardless of the feeblemind effect, the caster can attack once per round with each of these eight tentacles or once with one tentacle and do any other normal action that can be completed in one round (like attack with a weapon, use a psionic, cast another spell, etc.). Otherwise the tentacles cause 2d4 points of damage to the caster.
The material component of the tentacles of the mind is a tentacle of an ethereal creature.
