This spell allows the caster to research and create spells in greatly shortened periods of time (spells only take 1 hour per spell level to research)! Spells researched in this manner are less likely to be successfully learnt, and always consume a great deal of the caster's wealth. Spells are hard to comprehend when researched properly, so when studied quickly the caster's "to learn" spell roll is reduced by a base 10%, plus 3% per level of the spell to be researched in the spells casting.
Thus a 1st level spell can be created in only an hour with a research cost of 1,000 gold pieces (always the maximum of 1,000 gp per level of the spell); although the caster suffers a -13% penalty to his chance to learn the spell.
The material component for this spell is the money or treasure (wealth) required to research the spell being created, plus a fully equipped laboritory (although the 1,000 gp extra need not be spent to personalize the equipment, as the spell does all the work). In addition, the strain on the caster's body causes all the penalties and hindrances associated with casting an identify spell. Furthermore, the spell may only be cast once per week (a ten day period) without permanent harm coming from the strain it puts on one's body!
