Crawling, racing like lightning
across the precious skies.
Seeking to free them into
the night.
The reverberating beat,
lashing, dull and sluggish.
In caverns of heat,
they embrace, intertwine.
Burning, passions tackling
one another.
Caressing with fury,
recoiling to safety.
In a briefest of instants,
fulfillment is complete.
Then tearless, the parting
blinds one with eyes open.
