As dagger fangs poised over me,
Ready to sink into my too ready heart.
Can I blame them all?
Without a hard heart playing the game,
I fall victim to their clutches;
Descending to their grasp like raindrops,
And they the ravenous piranha,
Nipping the personal pleasures from me.
Who would guess the delighted ivory spectacle
Is so very voracious, vicious?
Insidious lover leave me melancholy;
But first, will you smile one last smile
As you rip into my heart?
