Sleeping alone in bed at night,
I silently wish to hold you tight.
Our love will cause much stress;
But it is worth it for a simple caress.
Your lips are the finest of wines,
Words like strong, soothing winds.
Your eyes hold me awestruck,
As the very stars overhead.
Seeing you once again has me burning with desire,
As if I were in the fiery heart of the sun.
I yearn for more, yet fear it also:
It must be love.
