Can I strive to be better?
What will it take to surpass the old me?
How on Earth can I move on,
When the person pushing me forward has given up on me?
Can I push myself without my will to continue?
Shall I even try, for it seems fruitless, my efforts?
Have I the will to undertake this endeavor?
Shall I look in mirror and attain hope or destruction?
Will the reflection just sneer back with contempt?
Can I abide his raw and hurtful sarcasms?
Do I wish to not just give up and become him?
Shall I instead suck it up and continue to Strive?
