This spell creates a golden sphere of fiery energy, said to be harnessed from the sun itself. Creatures killed by the sun sphere are normally burned to ashes. The damage caused by this spell is 1d6 points per level of the caster, up to a maximum of 10d6. Creatures in the spells radius can save vs. Spell to reduce the damage by half.

Like fire-finger, normal or magical fire protection does not defend against this spell. Furthermore, the caster and all of her possessions are immune to the spells effects.

The component required to cast this spell is a ball of sticky gum.

Notes: Restricted to Fire Elementalists; common for Sun mages, otherwise rare.
