This spell invokes the spirits of those who were slain by the person of whom the caster has his or her skull to attack others in their eternal vengeance. Three phantom skulls of nether energy to swoop down from the raised skull, held above the caster’s head in his hand.
Each of these spirit skulls attacks the creature of the caster’s choosing. The skulls attack with the caster’s THAC0 and inflict 1 point of damage per level of the caster upon impact with their target creature (this damage allows no saving throw). Then the skulls burst into ghostly mist that wraps about the victim in a horrid embrace and attacks its life force. Victims then must make a saving throw vs. spell each round for the next 5 rounds or suffer 1d4 points of damage and lose both 1 point of Strength and 1 point of Constitution. Lost Strength and Constitution returns at the rate of 1 point in each stat per hour. Damage must be cured magically or healed naturally.
The material component for this spell is the intact skull of a condemned murderer.
