Sentinel

Written: JULY, 1999

A man of great stone,
Hardened by Age.
In his polishes chest,
Dwells a heart of Rage.

Filled with Wisdom of time,
And etched in a World he Fears.
Turbulent Fate often brings the man to tears,
While the snakes of Life Lessons heads' do rear.

Alone besides the Earth,
With only his emotions to embrace.
Inside void from Faith;
He is not but a loveless Wraith.

A love of a thousand Deaths,
Reins him to life.
Emotions in turmoil,
Ever vigilant he stands.

Contained passion he cries,
As Jewel soothes his thoughts.
He will Love her as long as run,
The sands of Time.

With vision clear,
But Desires emotion altered;
I wish on parted lips,
That they can once again be together.

An abomination of Guilt,
He trades knowledge for his Peace;
After loss of her eyes & Forfeiture of time.
I find My love will Never cease.
