Scent

Written: SEPT 25, 2003

Like a waft of heavenly vapor,
Cradling my chin in the divine hand.
Rising me up above the rest,
The unadorned ones.
Faintly beating hearts will never know,
They can’t feel the thundering;
Soaring above the rest,
Reaching the plateau of beauty
I look at your blinding form,
Irresistible you call to me.
Far too vociferous to ignore,
I stumble in haste,
Just to circle you like a vulture.
Wading within sensuous persona,
Your needs, your wants;
I crave it with mouth-watering anticipation,
Looking at you unashamedly.
Dwelling close enough to see,
To see how consumed my body is,
Enlivened by your mere pass,
Your unforgiving
Scent.
